Tonight I have added a new stunt video and a load more mods to the database - according to the previous poll it's what you wanted to see more of. First of all the stunt video named 'One Step Beyond'. It's the latest stunt video by ZeroX, the newest member of the ATS stunting crew. Only a solo video this time but still worth the watch!
The reason ZeroX made a solo video is because he wanted to improve his editing skills and didn't have the time to do a whole vid worth of new stunts, which is why you may notice a couple of older stunts mixed in with the new ones. The editing turned out pretty good.

Yep, IGN released their second part of Life in the Hood. This time it focuses on shopping, modding, dating, pool and tagging. Be sure to check back next week when they will be releasing their 3rd part. There is also rumours going on that a possible video is on the way.. so check back soon.

Today we add another great video from Sinzar. He is the author of the video's such as Hitman Diaries Episode 1 and 2. This time round he's video is in the form of a stunt video. The first San Andreas stunt video here at The GTA Place.

The video is over 5 mins long and are just over 21 mb. This is just a taste of what to expect in the future when we and our community gets hold off GTA: San Andreas for the PC!

We've just recieved word from Rockstar that IGN will have a series of San Andreas updates this weekend. IGN recently updated their Xbox gallery with 8 new screenshots to kick the weekend off.

We will be updating our galleries as soon as we recieve the unwatermarked screenshots and will also keep you updated on the IGN previews.


Update 1: IGN published it's first part off GTA SA:Life in the Hood
Update 2:IGN released their second batch of screenshots. It features car modification, clothing, dating, spray tags and pool.

The GTA London Total Conversion mod for Vice City PC was released on Sunday, after 3 years in development, Xenon has stated that v0.2 BETA has been released and is available from www.GTALondon.com.

Some of the features in the latest version include:

> 16 new cars, most made specifically for this mod
> New police uniform for player and actors
> Xenon's BBC Mod
> Cocanuta's Warner Brothers' Mod
> Dozens of textures changed, including tarmac roads (with white lines), London fire truck and ambulance, and Tesco shopping bags

Be sure to download the most recent version and any bugfixes, some are released every day. Xenon hopes to get a full version out within two months, what we see now is just a taster of what's to come.

Tommorow is the release date for the GTA London total conversion mod running on Vice City. After 3 years in it's history, Xenon from GTALondon.com happily announced to me today that he will be releasing the first version of this mod.

Below we outline some of the features that can be seen:

► A new underground cavern Downtown
► New spawning positions for all vehicles

Rockstar have just sent us a batch of new screenshots for the Xbox version of San Andreas. Thirteen new screenshots have now been added to the Xbox gallery.

The latest issue of Official PlayStation 2 Magazine (UK) contains hints that a preview of Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories (which will be in 3D for those of you who were sceptical) will appear in Issue 61 of the magazine which hits shelves on June 16th, so make sure you get hold of a copy if you live in the UK.

The official site for GTA: Liberty City Stories has been launched. Above that, Jordan from Planetgrandtheftauto.com, who is currently at the E3 in Los Angeles, managed to take a picture of a poster for the new title.

At this time the official site for GTA: LCS doesnt contain any media or info about the game, but we expect to see more as the E3 convention continues this week.

Take Two have a press release officially announcing the title of the GTA game for the PSP - Liberty City Stories.
The title is to be shown behind closed doors only, so if you haven't got an invite you aren't going to see it.

"We have worked very closely with Rockstar North to bring the same integrity and production value of the previous Grand Theft Auto titles to the PSP system," said Gordon Hall, President of Rockstar Leeds. "People's expectation for a Grand Theft Auto title will always be very high, and we're confident that we can deliver a revolutionary experience. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories will be the most intense and epic title created for the PSP system, undoubtedly setting the standard for this groundbreaking platform."

GTA LCS is due for release this fall, after the European release of the PSP console, September 1st. We're looking forward to it.

Inspired by talk of a new GTA game for PS3, avid fake screen constructor MVI has made a new screen with his take on what the gallery feature will look like, and in my opinion it's a pretty good representation.

The Playstation 3, or PS3 as it is rather known, has finally been revealed at the Electronics Entertainment Exposition (E3). It's alleged to be twice as powerful as Microsoft's recently disclosed Xbox 360. So we should see some fierce competition between the two, with Sony already seemingly striking the first blow against Microsoft with the more powerful console.

In related news, IGN have confirmed Rockstar will be supporting the PS3, unfortunately no new GTA game has as of yet been confirmed. Although one has to assume GTA4 will be made. Where will we all go if it isn't? We'll have to get proper lives!

If a new GTA game is confirmed we'll have all the latest news both here and over at GTAFour with out new linked news system which is all nicely categorized as you may well have noticed by now. Each section of the website now displays news from the appropriate category if you haven't.

The clip is 58 seconds long and as far as gameplay goes, nothing is different than the PS2 version. Very noticeble is the higher polygon count and the higher resolution textures.

Finally gamespot published their preview for the Xbox version of GTA: San Andreas. Not much has been revealed that we already know, but there is 6 brand new screenshots availible to see.

Just one day before the start of E3 and gaming site Joystiq have essentially confirmed the name of the Grand Theft Auto PSP game.
Liberty City Stories will be its name.

I was able to check out a few of the booths being built at E3 this afternoon, one of which was that of Rockstar Games. It was pretty simple—basically just a bunch of buses parked inside a chainlink fence—but the important part was what was painted on the buses. You see, each one was dedicated to a different Rockstar project, and, nestled between a Midnight Club bus and a Bully bus (delightful alliteration, might I add), was a bus that was painted totally black but for a bit of text that read, “Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories” directly beneath the PSP logo. Could this be the official title of GTA PSP?

To further the claim, Rockstar Games are the registrant of the domain name LibertyCityStories.com which makes this a very viable name for the game.
We'll bring you more news as we get it. Our Liberty City Stories section of the website will from now on be reachable via GTALibertyCity.com, a rather apt domain for the game don't you think?

The guys over at GTAStunting have just released an excellent stunt video. Various community videos have been released over the years, but this one has to be the best. I can safely say it's the best stunt video I have ever seen.

Dedicated, released by it's editor NightKnight, is 5 minutes long and is over 80MB. Don't let the size put you off though, it's great quality, full off amazing stunts.
