GTA EFLC delayed
Posted 18 Mar 2010

The European version is being edited, and so now all other countries have to wait until the Europe version is sorted.
Quote
Those game changes sound pretty minor. Why does the game have to be delayed a whole two weeks?
Unfortunately, with each round of changes comes fully re-testing the game and a full re-submission to PlayStation. This is the nature of the game submission process. Believe us, if we could expedite the turnaround any sooner – we would. We are dying to get this game in the hands of fans who’ve waited for it for so long in the first place.
Why is content being edited just for the European release? This doesn’t seem fair.
There are different regional requirements for content – whether dictated by ratings boards like the ESRB and BBFC or by SCEE – this is pretty standard in the world of entertainment.
If this content is only being edited for the PlayStation 3 release, and only in Europe… why does everyone in North America etc have to wait? And why do PC players have to wait at all?
This was a tough decision but with a simultaneous release, everyone can experience multiplayer simultaneously, take part in online events together, be on level ground on leaderboards, etc.
What about those Episodes from Liberty City PSN and GFWL Social Club multiplayer events you announced for April 2nd and 3rd?
The first Episodes events for those systems will now be on April 16th and 17th. We will most likely replace the originally scheduled early April events with one for another game. Any requests? -
Sonys motion controller named
Posted 11 Mar 2010
After all the talk about 'will it be called Arc, GEM' etc, the final confirmed name is Playstation Move. It would have been Arc but Microsoft have a series of mouses called Arc, so they had to make a quick change.

And the Nunchuck used with your left hand is rather blandly called the 'Sub Controller'. The amount of lag for the controller is 1 frame, which isn't even worth thinking about, it's so insignificant. It's very reminiscent of the Wii controller, but they perfected the design for motion control so I don't see why other companies can't draw inspiration as well. I suppose now with SIngstar, and Buzz, and Eyepet, and now this, casual gaming is definitely here to stay on PS3, for better or worse. I'm personally not interested, I will always prefer controllers for the precise movements and total control you have. -

PSN worldwide issues
Posted 1 Mar 2010
So I tried to play MW2 yesterday, but it said the trophies couldn't be registered and it quit the game. I was worried, but it was too late to Google for an answer, until today. It's currently a worldwide issue, and Sony have said they're looking into it.

I looked for my MW2 trophies and I can't see any of them, I hope I get them back. My advice to you is, don't play a game with trophy support until the patch is released otherwise you might lose your trophies. I don't think I've lost them, but they're not showing up for MW2 currently.
Come to think of it, leave your PS3 OFF. The bug will kick in as soon as your fat PS3 is turned on so leave it alone. Crack out the old PS2 if you still have it, watch some films, dvd boxsets, whatever. Tomorrow might fix the issue, because the internal clock will surely recognise it as a valid date and so things should mostly be back to normal. -

Just thought I'd mention this site - http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/
You can sign up and write reviews there, and you can exchange the points you get for a voucher or cash. I think each Premium review of 150 words or more get you 50p, so keep writing them and you can redeem those points for vouchers or cash. Someone on another forum recommended me the site, so I thought I'd pass it on. Also if you're already a member there, care sharing your username? There's a limit on your reviews when you're a new member, I don't know when you're not classed as a new member, probably a week after registering I'm guessing.

WRX22B1998
19 Feb 2010 - 04:29WRX22B1998
Basically, 22B was a special version of WRX made in 1998 and ummm yeah thats pretty much it. Was my favourite car at the time when I made this account (and other emails etc) and from then I just used that as a online ID for most stuff.
