Special Vehicle Properties Legend:

 

BP = Bullet Proof (The Vehicle Is Immune to Bullets Except the Tires)

 

DP or CP = Damage Proof or Crash Proof (The Vehicle Takes No Damage from Collisions or Crashing Your Vehicle)

 

EP = Explosion Proof (No Amount of Explosives Will Destroy the Vehicle)

 

FP = Fire Proof (No Amount of Fires Will Destroy the Vehicle)

 

MP = Melee Proof (No Melee Weapon Will Harm the Vehicle)

 

AP or FI = All Proof or Full Immune (Refers to When a Vehicle Is BP/DP/EP/FP/MP Simultaneously; Can Only Be Destroyed if Tipped Upside Down, the Use of Blow Up All Cars Cheat, or You Perform the Parachute Glitch on It)

 

EC or UC = Exclusive Color or Unique Color (This Color Can Not Be Found in Traffic and No Pay and Spray Can Duplicate It)

 

EC2 or UC2 = Exclusive Secondary Color or Unique Secondary Color (Usually Is Completely Invisible and Can Only Be Seen Through Save Editors)

 

Unique = Refers to a Vehicle Which Can Only Be Found in One or a Couple Story Missions.  You Will Not Find This Vehicle in Traffic Ever and Nowhere Else in the Entire Game

1.0. EC Black Perennial

Mission: Big Smoke

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal.  After the first few cutscenes before getting onto the BMX, you will see Big Smoke's Black Perennial blown up near the sidewalk.  Get it out to the main street by pushing it with another Vehicle and wait for the Ballas to arrive.  At this point, try and trap them so when they destroy your Vehicle, it will blow up and also wreck the Voodoo they are driving in.  Once the Ballas and their Voodoo are gone, continue to push the Perennial wreck back to Ganton.  Once it's inside the Garage and renewed, simply go back to the BMX and finish off the Mission.

 

1.1. AP Tampa

Mission: Nines and AK's

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal and drive the gang to Emmet's for shooting practice.  Once you get there, use CJ's body alone to push the Tampa out into the street.  At this point, just jack a Vehicle and push the Tampa to the Ocean in which you will see in the Video.  When you get to the spot, dunk the Tampa in the water far enough that the game flags it as destroyed.  Now go back and finish off the Mission.  When you drive Big Smoke back to his house, you will get a call about going to buy new clothes.  At this point, go back to where the Tampa is in the Ocean and shoot it out using the Sawn Off Shotgun (Hitmen Level) and then push it back to where it will be right in front of the Binco Clothing Store.  Once you get it in front of Binco, use the Parachute to destroy the Tampa.  Once it blows up, quickly run into Binco, then immediately exit.  The Mission will be passed and you can now push the AP Tampa wreck back to Ganton to be renewed.

 

1.2. AP PCJ-600

Mission: OG Loc

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal and play up until you drive to Freddy's House and go into the red marker.  Once you are sitting on your PCJ-600, simply drive out into the street and stop on the sidewalk right where Freddy can shoot at CJ, but do not move any closer.  At this time, simply use one of your weapons to kill the OG Loc who is with you for the Mission.  You will get Mission Failed for killing OG Loc, but the AP PCJ-600 will be just sitting there waiting to be taken.  Before storing it in a Garage, it will have a permanent burn out mark on the ground when you accelerate but this feature will be gone once the Garage closes on the Bike.

 

1.3. AP Sanchez (1 of 2)

Mission: Wrong Side of the Tracks

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal and play up until you kill all the Vagos off the Train and are making your way back to Smoke's house to drop him off and pass the Mission.  Instead of taking Smoke home to pass the Mission, drive the Sanchez to Glen Pond and dunk it in the water.  Don't dunk it too far in that you won't be able to get it out, but dunk it deep enough to register the Sanchez as destroyed.  Once it's dunked in the water enough, kill Smoke to fail the Mission and then drive the Sanchez back to a Garage.

 

1.4. AP Packer

Mission: Just Business

Difficulty: ****

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal and play up until you get outside with Smoke to kill more Russians on top of the car park.  At this time, kill ALL Russians you see in the Video posted.  Make sure 1 or 2 of the Russians stay alive and allow Smoke to kill them instead.  At this point, rush as quickly as you can to the Police Department where you will find the i Info Icon.  Pick up the Info Icon and hope and pray that you get the last tip at the Police Department while the cutscene is playing for the next part of the Mission.  At this point if you got lucky and everything worked out as planned, you will be able to control CJ in the cutscene instead of hopping on the back of the BF-400 that Smoke is driving.  At this point once you gain control of CJ, run to the Sprunk Machine which is located near the Broadway and the Gas Station.  This is quite difficult cuz the cutscene is locked in place and you have to navigate by using the Radar/Mini Map alone.  Once you find the Sprunk Machine, buy Sprunk for $1.  Buying Sprunk will now allow you to jack any Vehicle.  Before buying Sprunk, no Vehicles could be driven.  Once you buy the Sprunk, now you will have to make your way back to Big Smoke and the car park.  This is again very difficult because you can not see anything and you need to almost memorize where you need to go.  Once you make it back to Smoke and the BF-400, you will need to do a running jump where CJ knocks Big Smoke off his Bike and the next part of the Mission will play as normal.  Only difference is you have total control and are not stuck in the rail shooter on the back of the BF-400 while Smoke drives.  Smoke won't even be on the BF-400 with you at all, but you will still hear his dialog being spoken.  Once you make your way down the winding car park and onto the street, shoot and kill the first target that is chasing CJ.  Now simply don't do anything until you jump into the storm drainage.  At this point, there will be numerous BF-400's chasing you and shooting at you.  Shoot and kill them when necessary.  You want the BF-400's Health to be almost gone when you get the cutscene with the Packer jumping down into the storm drain almost landing on CJ.  At this point, quickly jump off the BF-400 and it will blow up sooner or later which will give you a Mission Failure.  Now, kill the few Russians who are shooting at you and load up the AP Packer with the AP Sultan and DP/EP/FP BF-400 on the back and drive to Ganton.  You can unlock the AP Sultan and DP/EP/FP BF-400 from the Packer and put them in a Garage.  Next, drive to the Gas Station where you bought Sprunk earlier and where a Broadway is parked.  Park the AP Packer close by the Broadway and get inside and activate Pimping.  This will impound your AP Packer to the Los Santos Impound.  Phew!  Now go and save your game before doing anything else!  Glad that is over!

 

***This might not work for Android/iOS Devices.  It does work for PS2 and PC confirmed so far.***

 

1.5. AP Sultan

Mission: Just Business

Difficulty: **** or * (Mobile - iOS/Android ONLY)

Pass or Fail: Fail

To get this alone, without the Packer and BF-400, you can easily do it, but only on Mobile Platforms using this glitch in which you can force shut down the game App, which allows the Mission to fail and you can grab this AP Sultan, which is usually red colored for some reason as I've never seen it in any other color, unlike the other Sultans you can get from this Mission in AP form as described above.  You just have to do the Mission like normal until after the Packer cutscene where it jumps down into the storm drain, then allow it to drive ahead a bit and at this point which you will see in the Video, you will close the App.  Watch the Video

for more assistance.  There is a catch, it seems to work only on some Versions of SA or perhaps only certain Devices.  It doesn't work for me, but it works for my friend.  There is even another Video of this on Youtube

1.6. DP/EP/FP BF-400

Mission: Just Business

Difficulty: ****

Pass or Fail: Fail

1.7. DP/EP/FP/MP BF-400

Mission: Just Business

Difficulty: ***

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal and play up until you get outside with Smoke to kill more Russians on top of the car park.  At this time, kill ALL Russians you see in the Video posted.  Make sure 1 or 2 of the Russians stay alive and allow Smoke to kill them instead.  At this point, rush as quickly as you can to the Police Department where you will find the i Info Icon.  Pick up the Info Icon and hope and pray that you get the last tip at the Police Department while the cutscene is playing for the next part of the Mission.  At this point if you got lucky and everything worked out as planned, you will be able to control CJ in the cutscene instead of hopping on the back of the BF-400 that Smoke is driving.  At this point once you gain control of CJ, simply equipped the Baseball Bat and swat at Big Smoke a bunch of times until he dies.  Once you get Mission Failed, simply take the BF-400 and store it in a Garage.

 

1.8. EC (Any Color You Want) Mutant BF-400

Mission: Just Business

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal and play up until you and Smoke get onto the top of the car park and start killing more Russians.  As depicted in the Video posted below, kill all the Russians you see being killed and leave the few remaining alive for Smoke to kill.  At this point, rush as quickly as you can to Roboi's Food Mart and get on the BMX there.  Once on the BMX, ride it to the random car generator that will spawn a Vehicle near by like you see in the Video.  Once you get in this Vehicle, drive it to Transfender and wait for Smoke to kill the remaining Russians.  Once he kills them, let the Mission play out like normal until you get the cutscene where the Packer is jumping off of the bridge into the storm drain.  At this point, quickly equipped your desired tires you want on the BF-400 as well as the EC color you want to have on it.  You will get a Mission Failure and CJ alone will be sitting on this Bike as the Transfender Garage door opens.  You won't be able to move, so simply get off the Bike and get back onto it.  Now drive it to a Garage and store it.

 

1.9. EC (Color?) Nebula 1

Mission: Just Business

Difficulty: ****

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: See Video for further details and explanation.  These are recently discovered and not a lot of information is known about them, other than that there is some EC and EC2 Nebulas found in Just Business.  They are all obtainable and have a similar, yet different method to get them in regards to the Packer, Sultan, and BF-400.  You have to use the Info Icon again, but this time, using the Hospital Info Icon.

 

2.0. EC (Color?) Nebula 2

Mission: Just Business

Difficulty: ****

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: See Video for further details and explanation.  These are recently discovered and not a lot of information is known about them, other than that there is some EC and EC2 Nebulas found in Just Business.  They are all obtainable and have a similar, yet different method to get them in regards to the Packer, Sultan, and BF-400.  You have to use the Info Icon again, but this time, using the Hospital Info Icon.

 

2.1. EC (Color?) Nebula 3

Mission: Just Business

Difficulty: ****

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: See Video for further details and explanation.  These are recently discovered and not a lot of information is known about them, other than that there is some EC and EC2 Nebulas found in Just Business.  They are all obtainable and have a similar, yet different method to get them in regards to the Packer, Sultan, and BF-400.  You have to use the Info Icon again, but this time, using the Hospital Info Icon.

 

2.2. EC Army Green Mesa

Mission: Robbing Uncle Sam

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal, but instead of opening the Gate for Ryder, kill all the Guards and take the Mesa back to a Garage.  See in the Video on how to get it out of the location by using the stairs.  Once you take it back to a Garage and come back, then open the other Gate and kill the 2 Guards and then open the other Gate for Ryder.  Quickly load up the Boxes into the Mule for Ryder.  Once you finish, drive the Forklift back to a Garage.  Leave Ryder there.  Nothing will happen to him as long as you killed all the Guards before leaving.  Once you come back, then just get in the Mule with Ryder and pass the Mission.  Once you pass the Mission, you can also take the Mule to a Garage.  There you have it.  You just passed Robbing Uncle Sam while obtaining the EC Dark Green Mesa, BP Forklift, and EP Mule at the same time.  REMEMBER TO CONFIRM THEM IN THE GARAGES BEFORE SAVING BY OPENING AND CLOSING THE GARAGES!  If you don't check them, they will disappear.  This is due to the fact when you store a Vehicle on a Mission, the Garage won't really recognize it until you go back and open it, then close it, open it again, and once more closing it.  Do this before you save after passing the Mission.

 

2.3. BP Forklift

Mission: Robbing Uncle Sam

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal, but instead of opening the Gate for Ryder, kill all the Guards and take the Mesa back to a Garage.  See in the Video on how to get it out of the location by using the stairs.  Once you take it back to a Garage and come back, then open the other Gate and kill the 2 Guards and then open the other Gate for Ryder.  Quickly load up the Boxes into the Mule for Ryder.  Once you finish, drive the Forklift back to a Garage.  Leave Ryder there.  Nothing will happen to him as long as you killed all the Guards before leaving.  Once you come back, then just get in the Mule with Ryder and pass the Mission.  Once you pass the Mission, you can also take the Mule to a Garage.  There you have it.  You just passed Robbing Uncle Sam while obtaining the EC Dark Green Mesa, BP Forklift, and EP Mule at the same time.  REMEMBER TO CONFIRM THEM IN THE GARAGES BEFORE SAVING BY OPENING AND CLOSING THE GARAGES!  If you don't check them, they will disappear.  This is due to the fact when you store a Vehicle on a Mission, the Garage won't really recognize it until you go back and open it, then close it, open it again, and once more closing it.  Do this before you save after passing the Mission.

 

2.4. EP Mule

Mission: Robbing Uncle Sam

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal, but instead of opening the Gate for Ryder, kill all the Guards and take the Mesa back to a Garage.  See in the Video on how to get it out of the location by using the stairs.  Once you take it back to a Garage and come back, then open the other Gate and kill the 2 Guards and then open the other Gate for Ryder.  Quickly load up the Boxes into the Mule for Ryder.  Once you finish, drive the Forklift back to a Garage.  Leave Ryder there.  Nothing will happen to him as long as you killed all the Guards before leaving.  Once you come back, then just get in the Mule with Ryder and pass the Mission.  Once you pass the Mission, you can also take the Mule to a Garage.  There you have it.  You just passed Robbing Uncle Sam while obtaining the EC Dark Green Mesa, BP Forklift, and EP Mule at the same time.  REMEMBER TO CONFIRM THEM IN THE GARAGES BEFORE SAVING BY OPENING AND CLOSING THE GARAGES!  If you don't check them, they will disappear.  This is due to the fact when you store a Vehicle on a Mission, the Garage won't really recognize it until you go back and open it, then close it, open it again, and once more closing it.  Do this before you save after passing the Mission.

 

2.5. EC Dark Green Pony with Off-Road Tires

Mission: Life's a Beach

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This one is very easy to obtain.  Simply do the Mission like normal up to the part you get inside this Van with the sound system in the back.  This is the Pony that you want to obtain.  Simply drive it into the Ocean to fail the Mission and it's yours for the keeping.  I suggest driving it over to Santa Maria Beach Safehouse is located and dunking it in the water there and then pushing it out with CJ.  You won't be attacked by any guys from the party where you stole the Pony from.  Once you get it out of the water, take it to the Garage and store it.

 

2.6. BP/FP Voodoo

Mission: House Party

Difficulty: ***

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This one is semi tricky to obtain, even though the Garage is right next door.  In the Video, you will see Stea1thman actually obtain all 3 obtainable Special Vehicles at the same time and pass the Mission, but if you just want the Voodoo, only do this with the BP/FP Voodoo and don't bother with the Tahoma and Greenwood.  Watch the Video for further instruction.

 

2.7. BP/FP Tahoma

Mission: House Party

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This one is very easy to obtain.  Simply do the Mission like normal.  Once passed, look to your side, you will see the Tahoma sitting there like it was at the start of the Mission and it has retained the BP/FP properties.  Simply use CJ alone and push it to the Garage.  Unfortunately, the Voodoo and Greenwood will have lost their properties and can't be obtained this way.

 

2.8. EP/FP Vehicles (Anything You Want)

Mission: Gray Imports

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass if Only Converting One Vehicle /// Fail if Converting More Than One Vehicle

How to Obtain: This is very easy to accomplish.  All you have to do is drive to the first red marker of the Mission to activate Gray Imports.  Now go to one of your Garages and get a Vehicle you want to convert into EP/FP and simply drive it to the Warehouse and into the next red marker.  After you drive into the red marker at the Warehouse, you have now just converted your Vehicle into EP/FP.  Simply drive it back to a Garage to store it and then come back to either pass the Mission or fail it if you are making more Vehicles into EP/FP.  To fail the Mission, simply let the Russian escape like you will see in the Video posted below.  To pass the Mission, just kill the Russian and confirm your Vehicle in the Garage once the Mission is passed.  NOTE - ***Do not convert Special Vehicles with other properties into EP/FP.  Gray Imports deletes ALL properties on a Vehicle and adds in EP/FP only.  So lets say you take a BP Forklift to be made into EP/FP.  It won't be converted to BP/EP/FP, it'll lose the BP property and only be EP/FP.  It's best to only use EC Vehicles to convert them into EP/FP/EC or it's best to just obtain some Rare Vehicles from Vigilante and locked territory early in the game and then convert these to EP/FP.  Watch the Video below for more assistance.

 

 

2.9. EP Banshee

Mission: Gray Imports

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass or Fail (Video Shown Below)

How to Obtain: This one is so easy to get and you only need to really watch the Video from the 9:10 mark.  Do the Mission like normal and get ahead of the Russian as you escape the warehouse as he runs to his Banshee.  When he gets inside, jack it from him and drive off with it.  You should be waiting for him and standing at his door to jack it quickly so he doesn't drive off with it.  Once you get inside of it, drive away.  You will fail the Mission and there you have an EP Banshee.

 

On Page 2 of this Topic, OrionSR explains how to get the EP Banshee with passing Gray Imports.  Read his description and look at the Photos he posted for further assistance.

 

3.0. AP Admiral (1 of 3)

Mission: Los Sepulcros

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal and drive to the Cemetery.  Once you get there, just leave the area and go find a Tractor in the Country somewhere or have one ready and inside one of your Garages.  Drive the Tractor back (You can also use a Tow Truck if you have one and think finding one of them is easier) to the Cemetery and park it in front of the AP Admiral sitting there.  Now, just shoot one of the Ballas to fail the Mission for scaring Kane and tow the AP Admiral back to a Garage since the doors are locked.  Once it's inside the Garage and the Garage door closes on it, the doors will become unlocked and you will have the AP Admiral ready to use.

 

3.1. AP/EC2 Admiral (2 of 3)

Mission: Los Sepulcros

Difficulty: *** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This one is quite tedious and time consuming to obtain and I don't exactly know how to do it since I never tried it before.  It's quite pointless to get, considering the other, much easier and less time consuming AP Admiral is from this same Mission and also requires a Mission Failure.  Personally, I would SKIP both of these Admirals in Los Sepulcros and get the final, third AP/EC2 Admiral from You've Had Your Chips later on when you get to Las Venturas since this Admiral is fairly easy to get and also can PASS the Mission to get it, unlike the Admirals in Los Sepulcros.  But if you're dying to get your hands on this specific Admiral from Kane, then watch the Video below for more assistance.  Good luck!

 

3.2. AP HPV-1000 (1 of 2)

Mission: Reuniting the Families

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This one is quite easy to get, but I don't recommend getting it from this Mission, simply to conserve Garage space early on in the game.  There is just as easy, maybe even easier one that comes up during a Country Mission, "Small Town Bank."  Both require a Mission Failure, so you might as well wait and get it in the next coming Missions after you move to the Country.  To get this one in Reuniting the Families, you basically don't have to do anything.  What you need to do is make the cops destroy the Greenwood during a certain part of the Mission, and when you do, there will be an AP HPV-1000 Police Bike laying in the street waiting to be taken back to a Garage.  It's very easy to get it.  See the Video below for further assistance.

 

3.3. DP/EP/FP/MP Police

Mission: Reuniting the Families

Difficulty: * and 1/2 (PC and Mobile Version) or ***** (PS2 Version)

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is the WORST Special Vehicle to obtain in all of SA if you are playing on the PS2 Version.  The Video posted below is EXACTLY how you will get it on PS2, but the problem is when you run down the hills in East Los Santos, even keeping the camera on the area of where the Police Car will be coming out of the alley, it will vanish 100% of the time.  In other words, if you don't have the Greenwood destroyed BEFORE going up the hills, you might as well reload and try again, cuz once you turn the corner to go up those hills, the Police will have already despawned.  This is due to poor draw distance on PS2.  This is also the first 5 star difficulty Vehicle I have rated in the Guide.  It's not exactly "hard" to obtain, but it takes a long time and many attempts to obtain it.  Let me put it this way...I haven't obtained this Vehicle on PS2 to date and I've known about this Vehicle since my 2014 playthroughs of SA on PS2.  I've tried obtaining it on 4 separate playthroughs and out of the 100+ attempts, I've destroyed the Greenwood 3 times before the cutscene and all 3 times, it was going up the hills, which as I stated it is too far away from the Police Car, so it despawned, no matter how good I kept the camera on the location.

 

The reason why I also rate this a 1 and 1/2 star is simply for the PC and Mobile Versions of SA.  In the PC and Mobile Versions, there is this trick that when you hit Pause/Unpause very quickly throughout the chase, the health of the Greenwood seems to drop twice as fast, thus destroying the Police Car way earlier than you can do on PS2, thus making this Vehicle so easy to get.  You can obtain it first try on PC and Mobile no questions ask.  It's almost cheating how easy it is to get on PC and Mobile compared to PS2.  On PS2, you need luck of a thousand Gods, on PC and Mobile, you don't need any luck.  All you need to do is have fast fingers to hit Pause/Unpause and this Special Vehicle will be yours.  See the PC/Mobile Exclusive Method

 

3.4. Mutant Greenwood

Mission: Reuniting the Families

Difficulty: *** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This was recently discovered a few months back and is pretty neat to get, but it does take some time to pull off.  Watch the Video for further assistance.  This is a Greenwood that was taken into a Mod Shop and made to have some Lowrider Features to it, which mutates it's body and shape, similar to the EC Mutant BF-400.  So far the BF-400 and Greenwood are the only "Mutant" Vehicles discovered in SA thus far.

 

3.5. AP/EC2 Bravura

Mission: The Green Sabre

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This was once thought to be unobtainable until the Parachute Glitch was discovered a few years back.  This is the Bravura you will be driving to the ambush under the Mulholland Intersection.  What you have to do is arrive at the Bravura and then equipped your Parachute and punch off the passenger side door.  Once the door falls off, continue stomping the Bravura to death until it catches fire and blows up.  Right as soon as you see the engine on fire, quickly get inside of it, and then quickly get out.  What will happen, is the Bravura will actually duplicate and you will see two in the cutscene.  However, after the cutscene, all you will see is the wreck of the AP/EC2 Bravura.  Now, just let Sweet die to fail the Mission and then use the Sawn-Off Shotgun (Hitman Level) to shoot this back to El Corona Safehouse to renew it in the Garage.  This is the first Special Vehicle out of four that can NOT under any circumstances be moved off the ground unless you shoot it with the Double Sawn-Off Shotguns or a Minigun.  It's the only way to move it.  Not even a Tank can move it.  It's stuck on the ground and that is why you must shoot it back to a Garage.  There is more difficult ones to come, so get practice with this Bravura.

 

3.6. AP Sentinel (1 of 2)

Mission: The Green Sabre

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is rather easy to obtain.  The easiest way would be to have a Minigun, but if you don't have one, an SMG with a lot of rounds or an AK-47 with a lot of rounds will do.  Simply do the Mission like normal.  When you drive to the ambush, kill all the Ballas except for one or two of them.  Either do a drive-by on the Sentinel and continuously shoot it until it spews black smoke or get out of your Vehicle and aim and shoot at it.  Quickly, before Sweet dies, get into the Sentinel and drive it away.  The Sentinel will NOT be AP unless it's spewing black smoke BEFORE Sweet dies.  You also must get inside of it before Sweet dies, too.  Using a Minigun gets the job done in a few seconds, but using the SMG or AK-47 is tedious because a lot of times the Sentinel will JUST start to smoke black as Sweet dies and you must make every second count.  You can't hesitate.  To reload quicker, switch weapons and switch back before a clip of 30 bullets is fired.  This will prevent reloading time, thus more rounds being fired into the Sentinel and the quicker it will be to obtain it.

 

3.7. AP Sanchez (2 of 2)

Mission: Badlands

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This Sanchez as well as the next 4 Special Vehicles in the Guide are simple to get.  Everyone should be able to get them.  I also recommend getting this AP Sanchez instead of the one from Wrong Side of the Tracks to conserve storage space early on in Los Santos.  I also find this one to be easier to get than the one from Wrong Side of the Tracks.  Anyways, to obtain this Sanchez, do the Mission like normal.  Once you get to the Ranch in the Woods, take out all of the agents and get onto the parked Sanchez sitting at the Ranch and let the guy you need to photograph get into the Washington and drive away.  This Sanchez you are riding will be AP.  Let the guy in the Washington escape and abandon him where you see in the Video posted below.  Drive the Sanchez to the Ocean and dunk it into the water to make the game flag it as destroyed.  Now simply wait for the Mission to fail and then take the AP Sanchez to a Garage.  Easy stuff.

 

3.8. BP Tanker

Mission: Tanker Commander

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: The Video is only showing the BP Tanker being obtained, but you really should get the BP Tanker as well as the AP Tanker Trailer together as the same time.  Simply start the Mission Tanker Commander and then just kill Catalina.  Once she is dead and the Mission is failed, get inside the BP Tanker sitting there at the gas station and then just hook up the AP Tanker Trailer to it and drive both of them to Doherty.  Doherty Garage is actually usable since the start of the game and once the Country is unlocked, you can go to San Fierro without getting a 4 star wanted level.  Just put the BP Tanker and AP Tanker Trailer inside Doherty and once you unlock San Fierro and buy the Hashbury Garage, it's a good idea to move it there since the Garage is bigger than Doherty.  Make note that it's tricky to get the AP Tanker Trailer to be straight inside the Garage.  What I do is actually use the Sawn-Off Shotgun to shoot it in straight and all the way into the back of the Garage.  Doing this will insure it not to disappear.  It needs to be as far in as possible.  The Garage won't close actually, but what you need to do is just run away from the Garage keeping the camera on it and it'll close as you get far away from it.  Confirm the AP Tanker Trailer is still inside before leaving the area as well as the BP Tanker.

 

3.9. AP Tanker Trailer

Mission: Tanker Commander

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

4.0. AP Sabre

Mission: Tanker Commander

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is rather easy to get.  Start Tanker Commander and let Catalina get into the Tanker.  Once she is inside the Tanker, go to Dillimore Garage and get out your Tractor (You should have one inside there before you start the Mission as you need a Tractor to obtain this AP Sabre since the doors are locked).  Come back to the Gas Station and line up the Tractor with the AP Sabre sitting there.  Now run over to the Tanker and shoot Catalina with a headshot to fail the Mission and kill her.  Just tow the AP Sabre back to Dillimore, right next door.  There you have it.  Simple stuff.

 

4.1. AP Sadler

Mission: Tanker Commander

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Here is yet another simple AP Vehicle to obtain, except this one, and the last one to obtain from Tanker Commander, must pass the Mission in order to obtain it.  The other 3 Special Vehicles in this Mission all required a Failure to obtain them.  This one MUST pass the Mission to obtain it.  Simply start Tanker Commander and get into the Tanker with Catalina and hook up the Tanker Trailer.  Once you do that, a cutscene will play.  Some guys will be chasing you in a Sabre.  Get out of the Tanker and blow up the Sabre and kill the guys.  Now just complete the Mission by driving the Tanker and Tanker Trailer to the Trucking Side Mission location.  Once you pass the Mission, to your right will be a Gas Station with a Sadler sitting there waiting to be stolen.  Doors are unlocked.  Vehicle is completely indestructible.  Just take it back to a Garage and there you have it.  This could possibly be the easiest AP Vehicle to obtain in all of SA.  Everyone should at least have this one!

 

4.2. AP HPV-1000 (2 of 2)

Mission: Small Town Bank

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal and play up until you are fighting the police force outside with Catalina.  Upon killing all the cops outside, a cutscene will play and 2 cops will arrive on HPV-1000's.  These Bikes that they arrive on are the AP HPV-1000's.  At this point after the cutscene takes place, kill Catalina, hop on one of the Bikes, and take it back to a Garage.  Note - You will have a 3 star wanted level at this time, but there is some nearby police bribes, or just park it in a Garage and change clothes to remove the wanted level.  This is the last time an obtainable AP HPV-1000 comes up in the game, so now is your chance to obtain this one!

 

4.3. BP/EP/FP/MP/EC2 Fortune

Mission: Wu Zi Mu

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: For this Special Vehicle, like in the Video, I recommend using a Buffalo to start the race.  It's fast and accelerates nicely to trap Woozie inside the barn.  Like depicted in the Video, you will have to immediately turn right as you accelerate at the start of the race, and try to get Woozie to drive into the barn where he will be trapped.  Now just get out of your Buffalo and let the timer expire to fail the Mission.  Now just punch the door to the Fortune to make Woozie get out.  Aim a gun at him to scare him away and now push the Fortune out of the barn using CJ's body alone.  Next, use your Buffalo to push the Fortune out into the street.  At this point, keep changing camera angles, but always keeping an eye on the Fortune, until a Tractor shows up.  Jack the Tractor and hook the Fortune up to the Tractor and tow it back to a Garage.

 

4.4. BP/EP/FP/MP/EC2 Elegy

Mission: Farewell, My Love

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Similar to the Fortune, this Elegy shares the same properties and is Woozie's pink colored Vehicle during the Race.  Interestingly enough, only the Fortune and Elegy are BP/EP/FP in these Races.  The other Race Competitor's Vehicles are only FP.  You can get them, too, but they are not worth it.  To get this Elegy, start the Race.  You will be given an EC2 Off-Road ZR-350 for the Race.  Simply ditch your ZR-350 in the water around the corner as you will see in the Video to fail the Mission.  Now just keep the Elegy in sight and wait for a Tractor to show up (just like what you need to do for the Fortune).  Once you have a Tractor spawn, jack it, hook up the Elegy, and tow it back to a Garage.  Make sure to punch the door of the Elegy so Woozie gets out.  If you tow it with him inside of it, it's harder to store it in the Garage cuz he will try and drive away.

 

4.5. BP/EP/FP/MP Patriot

Mission: Yay Courier (Cesar Phone Call)

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Every Time Cesar Calls You, it Will Add +1 to Mission Attempts Stat

How to Obtain: This Special Vehicle is not from any Story Mission and is from a Phone Call you will receive either when you are in The Country or when you get to San Fierro.  All you need to do is follow the Patriot while driving a Tow Truck.  Once you either steal cash from the Patriot or steal nothing, just hook up the Patriot to the Tow Truck and tow it to a Garage.  In the Video, the driver of the Patriot is still inside when he tows it away.  I don't recommend doing that.  Just punch the door so the guy gets out and then aim a gun at him to scare him away and now just tow it back to a Garage.  Despite how easy this one is to get, it can be annoying cuz the Patriot likes to vanish and "move" around, even if a driver isn't inside of it.  Always keep the camera on it until the Garage closes on it.  There you have it, a brand new BP/EP/FP/MP Patriot and the last Special Vehicle with such properties in the game.

4.6. Unique/AP RC Raider

Mission: Wear Flowers in Your Hair

Difficulty: *** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is probably the most Unique Vehicle you will find in any GTA to date.  This is the Remote Control Helicopter that Zero is flying around during the Mission when you arrive at his Shop to pick him up.  You can get it in AP form, but you can also get it in normal form.  The fact of the matter is, this Special Vehicle, like the AP Tanker Trailer is just a Trophy.  You can only admire it inside the Garage.  It can't be used in any way, shape, or form.  So even if it's in AP form or not, it's the EXACT SAME THING.  I've obtained it in a previous playthrough without it being AP, but in my new, current PS2 Save, I have obtained it in AP form, exactly how you will see in the Video.

 

First do the Mission like normal up until you arrive at Zero's Shop to pick him up.  Now, simply park the Emperor that you are driving during the Mission right up against the bench Zero is sitting on.  What you need to do is block traffic from getting impatient and ramming Zero while he sits on this bench.  When you shoot at the RC Raider and try and make it land upside down and blow up, drivers will get scared and drive away fast, sometimes killing Zero and failing the Mission.  You do not want this to happen, or you have to start over this ultra boring Mission driving around San Fierro picking people up.  Once you block Zero in and have the area secure, start using the Sawn-Off Shotgun (Hitman Level) to shoot the Raider.  You want to try and shoot it so it somehow gets tipped upside down and lands on the ground.  If you do this, it will smoke black and then blow up.  At this point, while keeping the camera on the wreck, go back to the Emperor and pick up Zero by going into the red marker.  Now just use the Emperor to push the Raider back to Doherty and then renew it in the Garage and pass the Mission.  The Raider does take up one Garage space, despite how tiny it is, so I recommend moving the Raider to a tiny Garage like Calton Heights or something.  It can be towed, but sometimes it's tricky to tow it and just easier using a Vehicle to push it out of Doherty and all the way to Calton Heights.  I've been doing this and it works like a charm.  Here is an

without it being AP.  Make note that if you get it in normal form, the Raider is stuck to the ground and can't be moved under any circumstances.  You will need to shoot it back to Doherty.  All in all, if you get it in normal form or AP form, it's gonna take about the same amount if time, so I would just go ahead and get it in AP form.

 

4.7. AP Merit

Mission: 555 We Tip

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Do the Mission like normal up until you must return the DA's Merit to the underground Car Park.  A Valet guy will come down to pick up the Merit, simply stand in front of the Merit once the Valet guy gets inside of it and tries to drive it away.  Simply shoot him through the front windshield glass.  He will fall out and the door will be open.  Now just get inside the AP Merit and drive it back to any Garage.  At this point, to fail the Mission, equipped your Parachute and start stomping the AP Merit to death inside the Garage.  Once it catches fire, stand back so the explosion doesn't hurt CJ.  When it explodes the Mission will fail for destroying the DA's Vehicle.  Now just let the Garage close on the wreck of the Merit to renew it and there you have it.  You just obtained the AP Merit.  Another very easy Special Vehicle!

 

4.8. AP Savanna

Mission: Photo Opportunity

Difficulty: ***

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This Special Vehicle is quite tedious and time consuming.  First, start the Mission and pick up Cesar.  Once you are sitting inside the Savanna with Cesar, drive it all the way to the Bomb Shop in Los Santos to arm it with a Bomb.  Now drive the Savanna armed with a Bomb all the way to Angel Pine.  Once you reach Angel Pine, let Cesar get out of the Savanna and start walking up the steps to the roof to take Photos of Ryder and the others.  Arm the bomb and get out and run up the steps and into the red marker.  Once you are in the red marker holding the camera, aim the camera at the Savanna, which momentarily will blow up.  Continue to keep the camera on the Savanna until the Mission fails for not taking the Photos.  Now comes the annoying part.  Keep the camera on the wreck at all times, while switching camera angles and running around hoping a Tanker will spawn.  You will need a Tanker in order to push this wreck of the Savanna all the way back to Doherty.  It's a long push, but don't be alarmed since the Tanker pushes the Savanna wreck with ease, especially if you get the Savanna on its back.  It will slide on the ground like butter.  Once you push it back to Doherty, be careful pushing it into the Garage cuz Doherty has a strange mechanism to delete wrecks right in front of the Garage if you get it too close before the Garage opens up.  Quickly push it in and back up and get out of the Tanker for the Garage to close and renew the Savanna.  You have just obtained Cesar's Savanna in AP form!

 

4.9. ***AP/EC2 Picador***

Mission: Photo Opportunity

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This Picador is very new to the Special Vehicle collectors.  It's also the only Special Vehicle that can permanently glitch your game.  To obtain this AP/EC2 Picador from Photo Opportunity, you must use Mission Duplication, but by doing this, you will always have the blue dot on the Radar to pick up Cesar for the Mission, even after Photo Opportunity is passed or failed.  I don't recommend getting it in your main Save, but you can try and get it just to mess around with in an alternative Save.  This Special Vehicle needs to be looked into more and a new, better method found.  But if you want to get your hands on it right now, your game will be permanently glitched.  I also am a bit confused as to how it all works to get this, so watch the Video for more assistance.

5.0. EC Brown Camper

Mission: Jizzy

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This Special Vehicle is easy to obtain.  Just do the Mission like normal until you have to rescue Jizzy's Ho.  When you get to the location, just take out the guys beating up the Ho and then take the EC Camper to a Garage.  Then come back to the Broadway and finish the Mission.  After you pass the Mission, confirm the EC Camper in the Garage before saving by opening, closing, opening, and closing the Garage.

 

5.1. AP FCR-900

Mission: T-Bone Mendez

Difficulty: ***

How to Obtain: This is the second Special Vehicle in the Guide out of four that requires the Sawn-Off Shotgun (Hitman Level) or Minigun to shoot the wreck of this Bike back to a Garage since there is no other means of moving it off the ground.  This one is really tedious to obtain simply cuz of San Fierro's spawn rate of cops.  There is SO many cops around Doherty that almost every time a weapon is fired, you will get a wanted level, which makes this Special Vehicle take longer to obtain.  Before you start the Mission, go to the Airport and pick up the Heat-Seeking Rocket Launcher.  You will need it for this FCR-900 and the Boxville that comes up next in the same Mission.  Start the Mission by going to the Pleasure Dome.  Now drive to the location, however, drive to where you see in the Video.  DO NOT GET CLOSER or the cutscene will activate and you need to re-do it all.  Now that you are in the location, try aiming the RPG at the FCR-900's, but make sure it's locked on the one at the far right.  Fire the RPG and this will fail the Mission for destroying a package.  Now run down to the location and pick your color and body style of the best looking FCR-900 for your tastes.  They are all AP except the one in front of the Boxville.  It's the only FCR-900 that can move.  The AP ones are stuck on the ground.  Once you pick the one you want, follow the same pathway shown in the Video to shoot it back to Doherty.  Good luck!

 

5.2. AP Boxville

Mission: T-Bone Mendez

Difficulty: **** or *****

Pass or Fail: Fail or Pass

How to Obtain: This is a pretty tough Special Vehicle to obtain.  A lot of people won't get it unless they are dedicated and determined to get them all.  For most people, this will be too much.  I am posting the main Video for the Method to pass the Mission while obtaining this beast of a Special Vehicle, however, failing to get it is much easier.  But even obtaining it while failing the Mission is still difficult, hence the 4 star rating.  I will let the Video do all the talking.  Stea1thman once again has found a Method to pass to obtain this Boxville, but beware before you start, it will most likely take over an hour to obtain it, like the Video.  If you screw something up, of course, you will have to re-do it and that will get pretty time consuming, so you have been warned.

 

To get the AP Boxville with failing the Mission, you will need the Heat-Seeking RPG like I explained in the previous Special Vehicle post.  You will also need a lot of luck and probably will go through a good dozen Fire Trucks before you hit the Boxville away from the cutscene, so embrace yourself.  Start the Mission like normal.  Either bring a Fire Truck to the Pleasure Dome or just get a Fire Truck after you activate the Mission T-Bone Mendez.  At this point, like shown in the Video, you want to actually do a jumping-out-of-a-vehicle-launch off the ledge with the Fire Truck and hope CJ doesn't activate the cutscene and also hope that you launch the Fire Truck off the ledge with precision that it hits the AP Boxville down the hill to the fence.  At this point, you want to run AROUND the cutscene location and get to the Boxville which will have a blue arrow on the top of it.  Now drive it AROUND the cutscene and bring it back up to the ledge where you were launching the Fire Truck off of.  Once you get it there, park it, and go get another Fire Truck.  Once you bring the Fire Truck back, park it near-by and equipped your Parachute and start punching/kicking/stomping the Boxville until it catches fire and blows up.  Now, as quickly as you can, while trying to keep the camera on the wreck of the Boxville, get out the Heat-Seeking RPG and fire it at one of the FCR-900's to fail the Mission.  Now what you want to do is use the Fire Truck you have parked there to push the Boxville's wreck back to Doherty.  Once you renew it in the Garage, you will have this beastly Boxville in AP form!  Good luck, you will need it!

5.3. EC Chrome Yellow Burrito

Mission: Mike Toreno

Difficulty: * and 1/2 or ****

Pass or Fail: Fail or Pass

How to Obtain: This Special Vehicle is very easy to obtain, but if and only if you are choosing to fail the Mission.  If you are passing the Mission while obtaining this, be prepared to take some time to get it.  The Video posted below by Stea1thman is the way to pass to get it.  I won't explain that Method.  Just watch the Video for further assistance.

 

To obtain this easy by failing the Mission, simply start the Mission like normal.  When you drive to Doherty, get out of the Vehicle given to you in the Mission and go to the Garage and get out a Tow Truck (You should have one stored before you start the Mission).  Use the Tow Truck to find Mike Toreno at the Airport.  When you are prompted to destroy the Burrito after rescuing Mike Toreno, don't.  Instead, kill the guy shooting the Burrito with you to fail the Mission and now just tow it back to a Garage.  It's much easier to fail and get it than it is to pass and get it.  It's your choice.  Here is the

showing how to get it with a Mission Failure.

 

5.4. AP Sentinel (2 of 2)

Mission: Mountain Cloud Boys

Difficulty: *** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This AP Sentinel is MUCH harder to obtain from this Mission as opposed to the one in The Green Sabre.  I only recommend going for this one if you didn't have storage space early on in Los Santos or if you are that type of person who just likes a challenge and going for the harder counterpart of the same Special Vehicle.  The reason why this one is so hard is because of the Triads in Chinatown wielding AK-47's.  If they were not populating the area, this would be a standard Special Vehicle to shoot back to a Garage, similar to the AP/EC2 Bravura in The Green Sabre.  Since the Triads are there, you may have a tough time getting this and many reloads since the Triads can shred your Health/Armor down to nothing very quickly if you are not careful.  I've never obtained this specific Sentinel, so just watch the Video for more guidance.  Good luck!

 

5.5. DP/EP/FP/MP Rancher

Mission: Lure

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is easy to get.  Activate the Mission Lure for Woozie.  Drive the Rancher all the way to Angel Pine and drive into the red marker.  Simply turn around and go to the Beach to ditch the Rancher in the water to fail the Mission.  Now just push it out of the water using CJ's body, and then drive it to a Garage.

 

5.6. AP Maverick (1 of 3)

Mission: The Da Nang Thang

Difficulty: *** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This AP Maverick is quite useless to get simply cuz there is one that is much less time consuming later on to obtain in a Las Venturas Mission.  Furthermore, you can obtain the next AP Maverick, which also has an EC paintjob in a few Missions from now, so I'd wait.  I added this one into the Guide simply for the sake of completion.  I've never obtained it before, so I can't exactly explain the method very well.  You need to use an undrowning zone, though, to get CJ walking on the ocean floor so you can push the AP Maverick out of the Ocean and fly it back to a Garage.  Watch the Video for further assistance.  Also note that in the Video for Part 3, it cuts off once the Maverick is inside the Garage, yet, the Mission has not been passed or failed yet.  Once it's stored in the Garage, just go back to the Boat and complete the Mission and confirm the Maverick in the Garage after you pass it.

 

5.7. DP/FP Rumpo

Mission: Outrider

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is simple.  Start the Mission Outrider and drive to the Washington parked at the gas station.  A cutscene will take place and you will be driving the Washington.  Next drive to the red marker which is located at this Rumpo a bit up the road.  Simply grab the Sniper Rifle that is supplied for you, and snipe the driver out of the Rumpo.  The Mission will fail and the Rumpo is all yours.  Just take it to a Garage.  NOTE - This is actually a Heavy/DP/FP Rumpo before you store it in the Garage.  It can move any Vehicle out of the way with ease.  Unfortunately, Heavy properties don't save in the Garages in SA, so once you store this, it will revert back to only DP/FP and not H/DP/FP.  LCS and VCS are the only GTA's in the Series that save the Heavy property.

 

5.8. EC Black Stretch

Mission: Ice Cold Killa

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This EC Black Stretch as well as the EC Green Pizza Boy can both be obtained at the same time whilst passing the Mission, so I am putting the Video that shows how to pass and get both of these.  Everyone should be able to pull this off as it's simple.  Start the Mission like normal and then drive to the Pleasure Dome.  At this point, unlike the Video, just grab a Black Stretch and take it back to a Garage.  Now go back to the Pleasure Dome and push Jizzy's Broadway into the water.  What this will do is force spawn the EC Green Pizza Boy as Jizzy's get-away Vehicle instead of the Broadway that you destroyed previously when you come out of the Pleasure Dome and ready to chase him on the Pizza Boy.  Chase him down and kill him.  Retrieve the Phone and now the Mission is passed.  Just drive the EC Green Pizza Boy back to a Garage and also confirm the EC Black Stretch in the Garage before saving the game, as well.

 

5.9. EC Green Pizza Boy

Mission: Ice Cold Killa

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This EC Black Stretch as well as the EC Green Pizza Boy can both be obtained at the same time whilst passing the Mission, so I am putting the Video that shows how to pass and get both of these.  Everyone should be able to pull this off as it's simple.  Start the Mission like normal and then drive to the Pleasure Dome.  At this point, unlike the Video, just grab a Black Stretch and take it back to a Garage.  Now go back to the Pleasure Dome and push Jizzy's Broadway into the water.  What this will do is force spawn the EC Green Pizza Boy as Jizzy's get-away Vehicle instead of the Broadway that you destroyed previously when you come out of the Pleasure Dome and ready to chase him on the Pizza Boy.  Chase him down and kill him.  Retrieve the Phone and now the Mission is passed.  Just drive the EC Green Pizza Boy back to a Garage and also confirm the EC Black Stretch in the Garage before saving the game, as well.

 

6.0. AP/EC Blue Maverick (2 of 3)

Mission: Toreno's Last Flight

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail + Suicide

How to Obtain: This is the first of three Special Vehicles in the entire game that you absolutely MUST commit Suicide if you want to obtain it.  The reason you have to kill yourself for this is cuz there is no other way to fail the Mission.  No matter what you do, other than killing yourself, the Mission can never fail.  What you want to do is start the Mission, then drive to the Airport and grab a Maverick.  Fly to the near-by roof as depicted in the Video.  When you get there, land your Maverick, shoot the couple guys down below where the AP/EC Maverick is located and now get out your Sawn-Off Shotgun (Hitman Level) and start slowly but surely blasting this off the Helipad.  I've obtained this in 20-25 minutes in the past, but there has been times it has taken up to 40-45 minutes.  It's very easy to get, but takes a while to shoot it off the Helipad.  Once you shoot it off the Helipad, jump off the building to the side so you don't activate the cutscene.  Now just get into the AP/EC Maverick and fly it to either Hashbury or Doherty as these are the only two spots it will fit as of right now.  Get it inside the Garage by using another Vehicle to push it inside.  Now simply aim an RPG or something at the ground and blow yourself up to commit Suicide and fail the Mission.  Confirm the AP/EC Maverick in the Garage after respawning back at the Hospital before saving the game.

 

6.1. EC Light Blue Pony

Mission: Toreno's Last Flight

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is simple to get.  Before starting the Mission, go to the Airport and pick up the Heat-Seeking RPG.  Now start the Mission.  Go to the location and shoot the few guys attacking you.  Start climbing the stairs to the Helicopter.  At this point, a cutscene will play with Toreno leaving in the Maverick.  Once the cutscene stops, quickly aim the RPG at the Maverick and fire a few rockets to blow it up.  Mission will be passed and the EC Light Blue Pony will remain sitting there in the alleyway.  Just take it after you pass the Mission and store it in the Garage.

 

6.2. DP Leviathan

Mission: Interdiction

Difficulty: *** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is the NEWEST Special Vehicle in the Guide.  It was uploaded to Youtube on Christmas Day.  This is a massive discovery, too.  There exists an AP Leviathan from Up, Up, and Away! but it's unobtainable at this time, so being able to obtain this Leviathan in DP form is amazing!

 

To obtain this start Interdiction like normal.  Get to the point where you need to protect the Leviathan.  What you want to try and do is destroy the Black Mavericks with a Minigun as soon as possible.  Once you do that, shoot the Leviathan yourself so the health of it goes down very low.  After that, pull out the AK-47 and shoot the Leviathan just a tiny bit more so it drops to the level as shown in the Video.  By doing this, the Leviathan will force land, similar to the Black Mavericks from the same Mission as depicted in 6.3. of the Guide.  Unlike the Black Mavericks, once the DP Leviathan lands, you will be able to just jack it and fly away with it.  At this point, take it to a Garage that has some space free or the San Fierro Impound like shown in the Video and you will need to blow it up to fail the Mission and then let the Garage or Impound renew it.  There you have it, a DP Leviathan in your collection.  Really cool stuff!

 

6.3. EC Black Maverick

Mission: Interdiction

Difficulty: *** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This one is quite challenging to obtain, especially since it has no immunities and is just an EC Vehicle.  Before starting this quest, have a Tow Truck in Fort Carson and have a Minigun with around 500 Bullets.  Now, grab your Tow Truck and go into the red marker to start Interdiction.  Make your way up to the top of the mountain in the Desert.  You don't need the RPG given by Mike Toreno and you don't need to take the Quad or the Bandito to the top, either.  Once you get yourself and the Tow Truck to the top, park it next to the red marker and get out on foot and go into the red marker on foot.  After the cutscene, get ready!  It's time to equipped your Minigun and only shoot the Black Mavericks a little bit.  What you are trying to do is force land one of these Helicopters so you can steal it after this part of the Mission.  Unfortunately, even if a Black Maverick lands, CJ won't be able to jack it.  Even if you hit the button to jack it, CJ won't even acknowledge this is a Vehicle.  The only way to get this is by towing it.  I've landed the Black Maverick successfully a handful of times, but if you land one on top of the mountain, it seems to disappear in the cutscene 100% of the time, so be sure to land one in the Video posted below.  Where you see it land in the Video is where I recommend trying to land one.  That seems to be the only spot where they can land safely and then remain after the cutscene when the Leviathan flies away to drop the package.  Once the cutscene plays and finishes, get in your Tow Truck and go to the Black Maverick and hook it up.  Once hooked up, remain calm and don't try to even move.  Wait until 1 of the 2 stars from the wanted level disappears on its own.  Once 1 of the stars is gone, tow the Black Maverick to the next location to pick up the package.  It's really tedious cuz traffic likes to bump off the Maverick from the Tow Truck and then it will blow up and you need to do all of this over again.  It's also pretty tedious since the lay of the land is very bumpy and uneven, especially at the Verdant Meadows area where you pick up the package as seen in the Video posted below.  BE CAREFUL!  Once you get the package and get back in your Tow Truck, take the package back to Las Brujas to pass the Mission.  Now comes the worst part of all.  After the Mission is passed, a lot of traffic will spawn again, unlike during the Mission.  Carefully as possible drive the EC Black Maverick to the "T" on the map (Toreno's Ranch) to activate "Verdant Meadows."  This is the Mission which makes you buy the Verdant Meadows Airstrip.  When you buy the Airstrip, you can store this EC Black Maverick inside the Hanger safe and sound.  But remember when driving to the Airstrip to be careful of other drivers.  Seriously, they are incredibly bad when it comes to this Maverick and they love ramming you from behind which knocks off the Maverick and most times than not, it'll explode and blow up and you will have to start all over.  This may take you numerous attempts, but it's worth it.  This shiny new Black Maverick is a must have!  Good luck!

 

6.4. AP Mothership

Mission: Black Project

Difficulty: *** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail + Suicide

How to Obtain: This is a very tiring Special Vehicle to obtain.  What you need to do is literally the entire Mission like normal up until the part where you steal the Jetpack and fly it out of the Silo.  At this point, fly the Jetpack to the Quarry and get inside the Crane.  When you get inside the Crane, the Jetpack will be off of CJ's back and he won't have the Jetpack on anymore.  At this point, run on foot all the way to the Sprunk Machine which you will see in the Video.  Buying Sprunk will allow you to jack a Vehicle.  Before buying Sprunk, you actually can't jack any Vehicles.  So buying Sprunk allows you to do this.  Once you buy Sprunk, jack a Vehicle and drive to Area 69 to acquire a Rhino Tank.  Your wanted level is locked and nobody will shoot you when you enter, so don't worry.  Just steal the Rhino Tank and now, finally, start making your way up the mountain to meet The Truth.  At this point when you arrive, use the Rhino Tank to push the AP Mothership all the way back to Verdant Meadows.  Once you get it inside the Garage with the Tank pulled right up against it, get out of the Tank, equipped an RPG or Satchel Charges and blow yourself up.  This will fail the Mission and when you respawn back at the Hospital, go back to the Garage and confirm the AP Mothership inside the Garage.  There you have it!  This is the second of three Special Vehicles which requires a Suicide to obtain it.  The last and final Special Vehicle that requires a Suicide will not be until End of the Line, the last Story Mission in the game.

 

6.5. AP/EC2 Admiral (3 of 3)

Mission: You've Had Your Chips

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is the last chance to obtain an AP Admiral in the game.  Personally, I think this IS the Admiral to always obtain.  The other two earlier in the game are pointless since you should conserve storage space early on and not to mention the Admirals in Los Sepulcros require a Mission Failure whereas this one does not.  Furthermore, other than Kane's Admiral in Los Sepulcros, this one in You've Had Your Chips is also EC2.

 

Before starting the Mission, get a Minigun with at least 200 Bullets and some Satchel Charges.  Perhaps have a Sniper Rifle with you and a Parachute, too.  Do the Mission like normal and kill the guys in the warehouse.  After you kill them all, equipped your Satchel Charges and place one each on the machines that you need to blow up.  Before blowing them up with the detonator, walk outside of the warehouse and get ready to use the Minigun the moment you explode the machines.  The key to obtaining this Admiral is being quick to kill the driver.  If you aren't quick, the Admiral will NOT be in AP form.  Once you explode the machines, equipped the Minigun and aim it at the driver of the Admiral.  He will die and fall out leaving the door open.  Now either use the Minigun to kill the passengers in the back seat or pull out a Sniper Rifle and shoot them dead.  Now take the Admiral to pass the Mission.  When you arrive at the Casino to pass the Mission, get out of the Admiral and stomp it to death until it catches fire while your Parachute is equipped.  Now run to the red marker and wait for the Admiral to explode while keeping the camera on it at all times.  Once it explodes, go into the red maker to pass the Mission.  Once it's passed and the cutscene ends, use a Vehicle to push this back to Rockshore West Safehouse and renew it in the Garage.  This is by far the best Admiral to obtain in SA since it has the EC2, it can be obtained with passing the Mission, and it conserves storage space early on in Los Santos.

 

6.6. EC Green Packer

Mission: Cop Wheels

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Before starting this Mission, make sure you have a Sniper Rifle and some Satchel Charges.  Start the Mission Cop Wheels and like shown in the Video, make your way to the same green dot on the map.  When you arrive, snipe the cop from a far and run up to the first HPV-1000 and plant a Satchel Charge on it.  Now just drive the Police Bike to the EC Green Packer making its usual loop around the ring of Las Venturas.  While driving there, you can pick up two near-by Police Bribes to lose the 2 Star Wanted Level like shown in the Video.  Once you lose the Wanted Level and see the EC Packer, drive a bit in front of it, get off the Police Bike, look at the Packer, and activate the Satchel Charge.  Mission will fail for destroying a Police Bike.  Now all you gotta do is block the Packer with another Vehicle and use the passenger side door to enter it and drive it to the Hanger where you will store it.  There will be a Mechanic standing at the passenger side door, but you CAN jack the Packer and you do NOT need a Tow Truck like shown in the Video.  A Tow Truck is NOT necessary since you can enter the passenger side door of the EC Green Packer.

 

6.7. BP/MP Walton

Mission: Madd Dogg

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Easiest Special Vehicle to obtain in all of SA?  I think so.  To get this BP/MP Walton, simply do the Mission like normal.  Once you catch Madd Dogg in the back and he lands on the boxes, drive him to the Hospital.  Once you take him to the Hospital and pass the Mission, just take this BP/MP Walton to a Garage.  There you have it.  Simple.

 

6.8. AP Buffalo (1 of 2)

Mission: Misappropriation

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Here is a very nice Special Vehicle to obtain and be able to pass the Mission.  Before starting the Mission, have a Tractor inside Prickle Pine.  When you get to the Helicopters, just let the guy fly away.  Immediately use the Jetpack or a Helicopter to get back to Prickle Pine to get the Tractor.  Once you get your Tractor, go to the Emerald Isle Car Park.  At the top level, there will be two Buffalo's sitting side by side.  One of AP, the other isn't.  See in the Video as to which one you want to get.  Now just let the guy come down the steps, kill him, collect the item, and then hook up and tow the AP Buffalo back to a Garage.

 

6.9. AP Maverick (3 of 3)

Mission: Misappropriation

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission and take a Tow Truck to the location.  Park it a bit away from the enemies and get out and kill the main guy before he gets in the Maverick.  Kill all remaining guards and collect the item to pass the Mission.  Now get your Tow Truck, hook it up to the AP Maverick, and tow it back to the Hanger.  This is probably the best AP Maverick to obtain in the game if you don't want any Deaths in your Stats, since the AP/EC Maverick which came before this required not only to fail the Mission, but a Suicide.  The other AP Maverick that came up first just takes a long time to obtain and isn't worth it in the end when you have this easy one later on to obtain where you have more storage space, too.

 

7.0. AP/EC2 Buffalo (2 of 2)

Mission: High Noon

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission by arriving with the Jetpack.  Make sure the Jetpack is where you see it in the Video posted below.  Now go into the red marker to start the Mission.  Once the cutscene ends, use the Jetpack to get to the AP Buffalo before Polaski gets to it.  Now drive it to where you see in the Video so the game flags it as "destroyed."  Once it's submerged in the water, get Polaski to follow you into the water, which will make him drown and pass the Mission.  Now all you gotta do is push or shoot the AP/EC2 Buffalo out of the water and drive it to a Garage.


7.1. AP/EC White Newsvan

Mission: Cut Throat Business

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is one of those Sawn-Off Shotgun Vehicles (Hitman Level) that is stuck on the ground and only can be moved with the Shotgun or the Minigun.  Before starting the Mission, have Satchel Charges, a Parachute, and 1000+ rounds of Sawn-Off Shotgun rounds.  Start the Mission like normal.  After the cutscene, place a Satchel Charge on Madd Dogg and get into the BF Injection and drive to the location leaving Madd Dogg behind.  When you get to the Newsvan, equipped the Parachute and stomp/punch it to death until it blows up.  After it explodes, detonate the Satchel Charge which will kill Madd Dogg and fail the Mission.  Now just shoot the AP/EC White Newsvan back to Santa Maria Beach Safehouse.  To make this easier, I also advise taking over the Gang Territories around the area so no Ballas try and shoot at CJ when shooting the wreck of the Newsvan back to the Garage.  Overall, this one is the easiest of the Shotgun Vehicles you need to shoot back to a Garage.  The Bravura, FCR-900, and later on, Greenwood are a bit harder than the Newsvan and the Greenwood is the mother load of the 4 Special Vehicles that require the use of the Double Sawn-Off Shotguns to shoot back to a Garage.  Good luck!

 

7.2. EC Red and Black BF Injection

Mission: Cut Throat Business

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This Method I am about to write is actually my own Method failing Cut Throat Business once, but obtaining this BF Injection as well as both of the Vortex' in this Mission at the same time.  Similar to the last Method for obtaining the Newsvan, start the Mission and put a Satchel Charge on Madd Dogg.  Get into the BF Injection and drive it to a Garage (Santa Maria Beach).  After you park the BF Injection in the Garage, go to the meet.  When you get there, activate the Satchel Charge to kill Madd Dogg and fail the Mission.  After the Mission is failed, double drive both the of the AP/EC Vortex' back to Santa Maria Beach.  When you get there, you will see the EC BF Injection inside the Garage and now you can also put inside both of the AP/EC Vortex' and now you have all 3 of the Vehicles at the same time with only one Mission Failure.  I don't see any Videos on Youtube about this Method.  However, I see a Video showing obtaining both Vortex' at the same time.  Simply do what you see in the Video, but instead of ditching the BF Injection in the water, store it in the Garage before tending to the Vortex'.

 

7.3. AP/EC Black and White Vortex

Mission: Cut Throat Business

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This Method I am about to write is actually failing Cut Throat Business once, but obtaining this BF Injection as well as both of the Vortex' in this Mission at the same time.  Similar to the last Method for obtaining the Newsvan, start the Mission and put a Satchel Charge on Madd Dogg.  Get into the BF Injection and drive it to a Garage (Santa Maria Beach).  After you park the BF Injection in the Garage, go to the meet.  When you get there, activate the Satchel Charge to kill Madd Dogg and fail the Mission.  After the Mission is failed, double drive both the of the AP/EC Vortex' back to Santa Maria Beach.  When you get there, you will see the EC BF Injection inside the Garage and now you can also put inside both of the AP/EC Vortex' and now you have all 3 of the Vehicles at the same time with only one Mission Failure.  I don't see any Videos on Youtube about this Method.  However, I see a Video showing obtaining both Vortex' at the same time.  Simply do what you see in the Video, but instead of ditching the BF Injection in the water, store it in the Garage before tending to the Vortex'.

 

7.4. AP/EC White Vortex

Mission: Cut Throat Business

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This Method I am about to write is actually failing Cut Throat Business once, but obtaining this BF Injection as well as both of the Vortex' in this Mission at the same time.  Similar to the last Method for obtaining the Newsvan, start the Mission and put a Satchel Charge on Madd Dogg.  Get into the BF Injection and drive it to a Garage (Santa Maria Beach).  After you park the BF Injection in the Garage, go to the meet.  When you get there, activate the Satchel Charge to kill Madd Dogg and fail the Mission.  After the Mission is failed, double drive both the of the AP/EC Vortex' back to Santa Maria Beach.  When you get there, you will see the EC BF Injection inside the Garage and now you can also put inside both of the AP/EC Vortex' and now you have all 3 of the Vehicles at the same time with only one Mission Failure.  I don't see any Videos on Youtube about this Method.  However, I see a Video showing obtaining both Vortex' at the same time.  Simply do what you see in the Video, but instead of ditching the BF Injection in the water, store it in the Garage before tending to the Vortex'.

 

7.5. AP Infernus

Mission: Beatdown on B-Dup

Difficulty: * and 1/2 or *****

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This Special Vehicle is no walk in the park.  I am giving it 2 ratings simply cuz there is 2 Methods to get this.  1 of the 2 Methods requires the use of a Tractor or Monster Truck and a lot of luck and the other Method relies on just luck, but it's very easy to pull off, regardless.  So what you want to do if you are playing SA on any other Version than PS2 V1 is start the Mission like normal and drive the Tractor to Glen Park.  Fight off the Ballas like normal protecting Sweet.  The hardest part is about to commence.  What you want to do is try and park either a Tractor or a Monster Truck in the exact location like you see in the Video.  By doing this, if you get very lucky, the Infernus will actually flip over in the cutscene and blow up.  If this happens, congratulations as it's the hardest part of this Special Vehicle and requires a lot of reloads and attempts to get this right.  If you managed to get it to flip over in the cutscene and blow up to fail the Mission, now use a Vehicle to quickly push it back to Ganton to renew the wreck in the Garage.  Be careful, though, as Glen Park will be occupied by the Ballas.  You don't want to get in a gun fight or a Gang War when you are trying to push this back.  Good luck as this is one of the few 5 star rated Special Vehicles in SA.  Since I own PS2 V1, I can actually obtain this with ease.  In the other Video I have shown, this shows the PS2 Method.  All you gotta do is do the Mission like normal, but before going into the red marker to confront B-Dup at his house, hold down X on your controller.  Skip the cutscene, but while holding down X, move CJ in the cutscene while talking to Sweet and hit Triangle to jack the Infernus.  If you did it right and are still holding down X, you will be able to accelerate FORWARD and now try and turn the Infernus around and navigate to Glen Pond, which is right next to B-Dup's House.  There is a slight difficulty with this since the cutscene it locked on the spot of the Infernus, so you need to navigate blindly and hope you don't run into any trees or miss the pond entirely.  If this happens, you will have to reload and try again.  Notice in the Video that the guy drives in reverse.  If you DON'T hold X during this entire process, you will HAVE to go in reverse.  If you try to hit X to go forward, what will happen is CJ will be wasted immediately and the AP Infernus will just be gone.  It will just vanish and waste CJ.  So make sure if you want to drive FORWARD to always hold down X.  Driving in reverse to Glen Pond is much harder.  However, in the Video, you will see him drive in reverse.  I've never obtained it with driving backward, I only got it a few times now with driving forward and that is the Method I recommend.  Good luck if you are playing on any other Version than PS2 V1 as you will need it.  This one is very hard to get and I am lucky I can obtain it easily since I have PS2 V1. 

 

7.6. EC White Camper

Mission: Riot

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is very easy to get.  Anyone can do it.  Simply start the Mission, Riot.  When you get control of CJ, you will be inside a Greenwood to drive to Grove Street to witness the Riots.  Before doing this, though, get out of the Greenwood and you will see parked in the Driveway The Truth's Mothership with the hippy paintjob.  This IS the EC White Camper.  Simply jack it and store it in a Garage.  Now come back to the Greenwood and pass the Mission.  Once you pass the Mission and drive to Grove Street, go back to the Garage you stored this Camper inside and confirm it's there.  The reason I call this EC White is cuz there is a glitch in SA which makes paintjobs disappear and it can happen very easily with the Mothership.  To turn this into an EC White Camper, simply open the Garage WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE CAMPER and then close the Garage and once again open it.  Do all of this WITHOUT LOOKING at the Camper.  If you succeed, which you should have, you will notice the hippy paintjob is gone, however, underneath it, is an EC White color that you can't find in Traffic on a Camper.  So even though this is the Mothership without any special properties, you can make it an EC White Camper and it's just like any other EC Vehicle.  You can have the AP Mothership which is an AP Camper with the hippy paintjob from Black Project and then you can have this Mothership from Riot and remove the paintjob to make it EC White.

 

7.7. AP Glendale

Mission: Los Desperados

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This Special Vehicle is quite easy to obtain and it's AP at that.  Simply start the Mission, but make sure you have a Tow Truck in the El Corona/Verdant Bluffs Safehouse.  When you get to the part of the Mission as shown in the Video, simply leave the couple Vagos alive and run as quickly as you can to the Safehouse to fetch the Tow Truck.  Now, drive the Tow Truck back to the spot where the shoot out is and run over Sweet to fail the Mission.  Now just hook up the Glendale to the Tow Truck and tow it back to the Garage and store it.  Once the Garage closes on it, the doors will be unlocked and you now just obtained the AP Glendale.  Pretty easy AP Vehicle to get so late in the game, as there is only one more Story Mission left and it contains 4 Special Vehicles and 2 of the 4 are quite the challenge.

 

7.8. Unique/BP/FP S.W.A.T.

Mission: End of the Line

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is a nice Special Vehicle to obtain.  Not only is it BP/FP, but it's also a Unique Vehicle and only appears in this Mission and then it's forever gone from the game.  This is pretty cool cuz a normal Rhino Tank is BP/EP, whereas this S.W.A.T. Tank is BP/FP.  Unfortunately it's not EP.  Luckily, to get it, it's very simple.  Start the Mission like normal and drive to the Crack Palace with Sweet into the red marker.  After the cutscene, run to the S.W.A.T. that is guarded by some cops who are having a shootout with the Ballas.  Simply steal the S.W.A.T. and then take it to the Bomb Shop in Los Santos.  After you arm it with a bomb, take it to a Garage.  Blow it up inside the Garage to fail the Mission, but make sure to keep the Garage door open until the Mission fails and the wreck is sitting there.  Now simply close the Garage and let it renew the S.W.A.T.

 

7.9. AP Greenwood

Mission: End of the Line

Difficulty: *****

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Here it is.  The hardest Special Vehicle in all of SA.  This is an absolute nightmare to obtain, especially if you decide to take over 100% Gang Territory before you obtain this.  Technically, there is a Method where you can leave the Crack Palace Territory still not taken over and fail the Mission, start a Gang War, and during the Gang War, no Peds/Cops will spawn, thus you can shoot this beast back to Ganton with ease.  However, I have yet to see a Video for this Method and it's also not how I obtain it or many other people, as well.  What we usually do is take over 100% Gang Territory before Cut Throat Business, so by the time we reach End of the Line, the Territories are already taken over, thus you can NOT start a Gang War with the Ballas to obtain it.

 

In the Video posted below, this guy will actually obtain the Unique/BP/FP S.W.A.T. and AP Greenwood at the same time, just for the one LESS Mission Failure in the Stats.  This is one monstrous challenge.  The reason I posted his Video, though, and not someone else's is cuz of his route back to Ganton.  THIS IS the route you want to take when shooting the wreck of the Greenwood back to Ganton.  You avoid a LOT of Peds with Pistols and the annoying 1 Star Wanted Level constantly when the cops see you shoot the wreck of the Greenwood.  I strongly recommend going this route back to Ganton.  You have been warned.

 

To obtain it, start the Mission like normal, but make sure you have a Parachute.  When you drive the Greenwood to the Crack Palace with Sweet, after the cutscene takes place, stomp the Greenwood to death with the Parachute equipped to fail the Mission.  Now what you want to do is try to avoid the Peds and Cops and shoot this wreck back to Ganton.  It's stuck on the ground and no other force can move it other than a Minigun or Sawn-Off Shotgun (Hitman Level).  The problem with the Greenwood compared to the AP/EC2 Bravura, AP FCR-900, and the AP/EC Newsvan, is you will have the Riots active and a lot of Peds will be walking around with Pistols shooting at CJ for no reason.  You have to do everything in your power to always keep the camera on the wreck of the Greenwood when shooting it back and you must always run away the moment you hear gun fire to make the Peds despawn.  You do not want your Health and Armor being depleted early on.  Try and keep your full Health and a little bit of Armor for when you get back to Ganton so you can quickly shoot it into the Garage and renew it.  If you managed to pull this off using this very Method, congratulations.  You've just obtained one of the most annoying and challenging Special Vehicles in all of SA.

 

8.0. AP/EC2 Feltzer (1 of 2)

Mission: End of the Line

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This one is pretty easy to get, unlike the previous Special Vehicle (AP Greenwood).  To get this AP/EC2 Feltzer, make your way out of the Crack Palace and let it blow up behind you.  When CJ gets into the Feltzer to chase Tenpenny and the Fire Truck, simply follow the Fire Truck all the way to the point you see in the Video.  Now abandon the Fire Truck, and quickly drive this into Glen Pond to fail the Mission for "destroying" the Feltzer and then use CJ's body to push it out and drive it to a Garage.

 

8.1. AP Fire Truck (Ladder Truck)

Mission: End of the Line

Difficulty: *****

Pass or Fail: Fail + Suicide

How to Obtain: This is another monster of a Special Vehicle to obtain.  It's a bit

since the rotating Camera is a lot easier to control compared to Console and Mobile Platforms of SA.  If you're on Mobile, I doubt you will ever obtain this.  If you're on PC, it may take a few tries, and if you're on Console, you will take many, many, many tries, but it's surely possible as I did it on PS2 twice and about to obtain it for a third time in my current PS2 playthrough.

 

If you are going for all the Special Vehicles in this Guide and have obtained the Feltzer previously, you're in luck.  Every time you do End of the Line from here on out, you will start inside the Feltzer ready to chase Tenpenny's Fire Truck.  You won't have to go through the Crack Palace part anymore to take out Big Smoke.  You will start the second part of the Mission immediately, which clearly will save a lot of time and attempting this time and time again won't feel as annoying.

 

To obtain this, I recommend using this route:

The red line indicates the path you want to drive the Feltzer to the Bomb Shop to arm it with a bomb.  The orange line indicates the path that Tenpenny will travel.  What you have to do is always keep the Fire Truck in sight at all times.  You must always have it in the center of the top of the Radar/Mini Map.  If you take the camera off of it for 1 second, just slightly, you will get Mission Failed for abandoning the Fire Truck.  This means RELOAD, RETRY!  You must keep the camera on the Fire Truck from the time you abandon it near Glen Pond all the way until you get to the Bomb Shop, arm the Feltzer with a bomb, and catch back up to Tenpenny's Fire Truck.  If you managed to catch up the AP Fire Truck after arming the Feltzer with a bomb, then congratulations.  The hardest part of obtaining this Special Vehicle has been finished.  At this point right when you see on the screen that the Cop is gonna stomp on Sweet's Fingers so he falls off, IMMEDIATELY ARM THE BOMB!  Timing is crucial.  If you arm it too late, the Feltzer will not blow up and the next cutscene will play with you shooting at the Fire Truck and Sweet driving the Feltzer, like normal what takes place in the Mission.  However, if you arm the bomb just in the right time and jump out of the Feltzer the moment Sweet lands on it, it will blow up, yet, Sweet will be alive, the Mission won't fail, and the Fire Truck will be up the road sitting there with the passenger side door open.  Just run on foot to the AP Fire Truck and take it to the Hanger, or a large Garage with some room inside of it.  Once you get it inside the Garage or Hanger, punch it to blow it up.  In the process of destroying it, you must kill yourself since there is no way to fail the Mission other than Suicide.  So if you want this beast, it's what you have to do.  After you respawn at the Hospital, go back to confirm the AP Fire Truck inside the Garage or Hanger.  There you have it, the beast AP Fire Truck is in your possession.  It's an awesome, fun Special Vehicle to have in the collection.  This also concludes the final Special Vehicle found in the Story Missions.

 

8.2. AP Bandito

Mission: Helena

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: These Are Obtained from Jealous Girlfriends Which Have Nothing to Do with the Mission Stats in the Pause Menu

How to Obtain: This AP Bandito, as well as the other 5 Jealous Girlfriend Vehicles below will all have the exact same Method to obtain.  The only requirements are that you have a Tow Truck in a Garage and that you have the two-time dating scripts enabled and never disable them.  If they are disabled, you can never obtain these Vehicles in the playthrough and have to start a new game.

 

In order to keep the two-time dating scripts active, DO NOT EVER date a Girlfriend when that is the only Girlfriend CJ has.  In order to obtain these Vehicles, you will need 2 or up to 6 Girlfriends to make it work and keep the scripts enabled.  Not only this, but when you take a girl out on a date and if another Jealous Girlfriend doesn't show up, you MUST reload.  If you finish the date, then the scripts will be disabled.  Don't do this.  Always reload if a Jealous Girlfriend doesn't show.

 

When you get Denise after Burning Desire, let her alone.  Don't touch her, don't date her.  Do nothing with her.  What I do is usually after Green Goo and unlocking Las Venturas for the final buyable Safehouses, this is when I go around getting the other Girlfriends that CJ can date in the game.  Now what you want to do is once you have 2 of more Girlfriends active, take one of them out on a date.  I suggest going somewhere close by to their house, so it will make these Vehicles really easy to obtain and painless.  The only annoying part is when you only need one or two more of these Vehicles, yet every time you go out on a date, you keep getting the same Jealous Girlfriend to appear or none and at this time, you must keep reloading until you get the proper AP Vehicle to appear.

8.3. AP Hustler

How to Obtain: This AP Hustler, as well as the other 5 Jealous Girlfriend Vehicles will all have the exact same Method to obtain.  The only requirements are that you have a Tow Truck in a Garage and that you have the two-time dating scripts enabled and never disable them.  If they are disabled, you can never obtain these Vehicles in the playthrough and have to start a new game.

In order to keep the two-time dating scripts active, DO NOT EVER date a Girlfriend when that is the only Girlfriend CJ has.  In order to obtain these Vehicles, you will need 2 or up to 6 Girlfriends to make it work and keep the scripts enabled.  Not only this, but when you take a girl out on a date and if another Jealous Girlfriend doesn't show up, you MUST reload.  If you finish the date, then the scripts will be disabled.  Don't do this.  Always reload if a Jealous Girlfriend doesn't show.

 

When you get Denise after Burning Desire, let her alone.  Don't touch her, don't date her.  Do nothing with her.  What I do is usually after Green Goo and unlocking Las Venturas for the final buyable Safehouses, this is when I go around getting the other Girlfriends that CJ can date in the game.  Now what you want to do is once you have 2 of more Girlfriends active, take one of them out on a date.  I suggest going somewhere close by to their house, so it will make these Vehicles really easy to obtain and painless.  The only annoying part is when you only need one or two more of these Vehicles, yet every time you go out on a date, you keep getting the same Jealous Girlfriend to appear or none and at this time, you must keep reloading until you get the proper AP Vehicle to appear.

 

Start a date like normal and take a girl out for some food.  After the cutscene (good or bad) get in your Tow Truck with the girl and wait a few seconds.  If you get a cutscene playing that shows a jealous girlfriend watching CJ, then you are in luck!  What you have to do now is make sure you are NOT caught by the Jealous Girlfriend.  You need to drive the girl you are on a date with home, BUT, you must keep the jealous girlfriend on CJ's tale the entire time.  You want to pull into the red marker RIGHT as the Jealous Girlfriend is about to run into the back of CJ's Tow Truck.  If the Jealous Girlfriend is too far away, the Vehicle won't be proofed.  If the Girlfriend is too close, that can also strip the proofings, but more times than not, you will be caught if she gets too close to you before going into the red marker.  It's all about proximity, so watch closely to the Video I will post below.  Once you get the cutscene after taking the Girlfriend home and after it ends, just hook up the Jealous Girlfriend Vehicle to your Tow Truck and tow it back to a Garage.  The Girlfriend will still be inside and the doors will be locked, so you can't do anything until the Garage closes on it.  At this time, the Girlfriend will have vanished and the Vehicle will be sitting in the Garage and the doors unlocked.

 

Watch the Video posted below for further assistance.  These appeared complicated for me back in 2014, but now that I understand the two-time dating scripts and how they work and to keep them enabled, these are very easy to obtain.  In the Video, you will see only 5 of the 6 obtained.  That is because Millie's Pink AP Feltzer is useless since you can get an AP/EC2 Feltzer from End of the Line and that is the better one to obtain.  Not to mention, the game script is a bit screwed up.  Millie drives a Pink Club, but when she appears as a Jealous Girlfriend, she is driving a Pink Feltzer instead of the Club, so you can never get an AP Club and instead another AP Feltzer.

 

8.6. AP Romero

Mission: Katie

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: These Are Obtained from Jealous Girlfriends Which Have Nothing to Do with the Mission Stats in the Pause Menu

How to Obtain: This AP Romero, as well as the other 5 Jealous Girlfriend Vehicles will all have the exact same Method to obtain.  The only requirements are that you have a Tow Truck in a Garage and that you have the two-time dating scripts enabled and never disable them.  If they are disabled, you can never obtain these Vehicles in the playthrough and have to start a new game.
