how can I fix the camera view to stay behind character so I don't have to constantly move the mouse along with w/s/a/d in order to see in front of the character?
I hope my question is clear.
help is appreciated.

it's not in the game options, is there a mod for this.
I just want camera to always be behind the character & vehicles with the exception of aiming the weapons.

the mod starts then "not responding" then closes.

Are you using version 2.0 of the game? If you are i would suggest to downgrade your current version.
