Company investing into 3D gaming and system ?
Portable laptop that have same power as a $2000 pc ?
Interactive gaming ?
Gaming system will replace the pc ?
Possible 4D ?

What is the next big thing ?

4D? Like what, a time machine? Cool! But not happnin'

I'd say it's the 4th, companies are starting to back off from making PC games, with the exception of Maxis (which are pretty much dead) and Valve / Gaben (which still pwn).

People blame piracy, people are stupid.

Or maybe Sony and Nintendo will go bust and Microsoft won't have to worry about competition, therefore supporting PC gaming as well... that would be awesome.

But yeah, dreams are dreams... still, with Sony getting butt raped by hackers who knows...

I doubt the PC gaming community would die out, it's absolutely huge.

I'd say 3D, when it starts to work well anyway.

Nothing to see here, move along

Not completely, and maybe not in the near future, but one day...

A device that you can work AND play games on, that is upgradable, can have the latest hardware/software, and can be upgraded...

Isn't that called a PC?

The next big thing must be the future and virtual gaming types what if they create the xbox future gen series consoles? That will make game playing experience almost perfectly virtual
