Error Reading

8 posts in this topic

Some of the early GTA IIIs and used ones bought at stores often came up 'Error reading the Grand Theft Auto III DVD' after the screen froze. It was so annoying. Post if you've had this problem.

Yeah, I've had that problem on Vice City DVD. I cleaned the disk and it stays repaired! :D

Clean the disk in your shirt (lol)... Or not. Or clean it on some good place...

Using cheats can sometimes fuck up your CD. It scratches it.

I had GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas on PS2 and both are scratched and saying Error. :(

Try SA BMX 32 said. and Welcome to TGTAP SA BMX 32! Remember to read the Rules.

It doesn't. What's there to scratch it, and even why? No clue where Ice made that up from.

if theres a scratch, the scratch is made by the owner of the cd

maybe

or the PS2 scratched it while running

Especially if you get pissed and move it around, oh does that fuck things up. As for Max Payne's problem, eh. I'd say it was the actual DVD drive than anything, if it's having that much trouble. Not that he's here anymore or anything, heh.
