yeah , i don't really know what u r after ,but go true that low rider mission with keypad. just make custom control commands to the hydraulics i used u,j,h,k as hydraulic controls I'm havng problems with this mission too. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to beat this horrible mission? That car is the worst handling car I have ever used in any GTA game. What I want to know is why am I forced to use this crappy car when other cars I'm racing against are clearly better? Using the Perfect Handing cheat in Crazy Trainer makes it even worse. In GTA 3 on the first racing mission I used to just blow up all the cars, then wait for one to pass by, steal it and drive at my leasure to the finish line. Why do games feel the need to cheat by not making things like this fair. It only frustrates some of us because we have to play it over and over and over and over, etc... challenging is one thing but this is insane.

How do you find out what version you have? If you have 1.01 is there anything that can be done to use any kind of trainer? Every trainer I used doesn't work and I used practically everyone on this site and they all crash my system when I try to reload a game where I have to reboot my system. Forget it. I found out I have Version 2.00. I guess I have to have a trainer for version 2 then. Do I alsohave to have other mods like cars made for version 2?

Well, I tried it witout the trainer and I beat the mission on the first try. I guess that was it. Thanks again! Now I can continue with the game.

I've done everything suggested here so far. I know about button 6 to point the nose up. I've tried this mission dozens of times and the only time I've ever gotten out of the water is when cop boats have pushed me. When without a wanted level all I do is waste fuel. I've tried to use the cheats to make the plane damage proof but it locks up the game right away. I'm using GTA Vice Ultimate Trainer Version 2 by LithJoe. Maybe that's the problem so I'll try it without the trainer this time. That's the only thing I haven't done yet. Thanks for the suggestions.

I can't seem to get enough speed to take off in this mission. If I have a wanted level and the cops are chasing me, then get in the plane and the cop boats push me I can take off but by that time the plane is on fire and, well you know what happens then. Unless something is pushing me I can't seem to get enough speed to take off and I've used the #6 button (pc version) to point my nose up. Is there a trick I don't know about?
