I made sure no program were in use, I even shut down explorer.exe and turned it back on. I still get the same message: Dir file error! It might be in use.. exiting... Now i have formatted the hard drive, i'll try again soon.

Yes. I tried that one first. So i tried to take the file outside of the VC folder, nothing worked.

I'm trying to open the gta3.img file with img tool, byt when i try to delete a file, this message comes up: Dir file error! It might be in use.. exiting... I use GTA Vice City and i'm sure that there is no program running at the same time and using gta3.img. I'm trying to replace the skimmer.xxx files. Is there perhaps something that I have to do before deleting files in the img file? If anybodu know, please respond.
