Just wondering, does anyone here ever play these games occasionally, on whatever system you may have them for?

I have the GTA Classics collectors edition thingy for PS1, which has GTA1, London 1969 and GTA2. I can't actually remember the last time played it, probably last summer or something. It's kinda fun sometimes, but only for a short while.

Of course GTA1 and GTA2 can be downloaded for free on the PC, so nobody has an excuse for not owning them
Also on the PC is the small London 1961 add on, which was never released on any console. Can't even remember playing that myself.

I downloaded them but to be honest, the first time I downloaded them and played them I hated them. I don't like the sky view. I would prefer SA any day.

To be Honest, I still play these games, Even GTA Burger City as well.

Nope. I'v downloaded them not that long ago. Started it and un installed it about 1.5 hours after that You know, the shops still sell them for 5 Euro here. That's 3.5 pounds and 5.5 USD I think.

I only have GTA2, and let's be honest here. I haven't played that thing since September. Although, I'd love to mod the game into a totally different adventure. But I don't have skills to do that.

Tried GTA 2 multiplayer with my hollandish friend not long ago. Uninstalled right after it. Don't like classics too much...

I like to say that I play GTA2 once in a while, but tbh I've played it only a few times after I've completed it. And that was months ago. I couldn't be bothered and I didn't have any time either.

I got this download of Grand theft Auto and strangely it was only 31mb!! it had all the features but i think it don't got all the missions, after a while it gets boring

I love the originals. I remember 8 or 9 years ago getting official uk playstation mag (sadly no more ) and it having pandemonium 2 on front of the demo disc. I glanced down and saw grand theft auto so decided to give it a go. I still play that demo, nostalgia is wonderful.

1. Never played the originals

2. Hate the originals

Or

3. Say the originals are shitty/boring.



Respect GTA's f***in' origins, people! These games paved the way for what we know as GTA today. The original GTA games, while not are nice looking or as fun to play, were still really cool games!

The download server is horribly slow. I got about 90 kb/s on a connection that usually got 500-600kb/s.
