I was playing GTA3 from the beginnning again a while ago and I think I heard the people pronounce Salvotre's first name 2 different ways and Toni's last name 2 different ways. Can someone please tell me how to pronounce the names properly: is it Salvator or pronounced Salavatory (maybe it's an Italian to English thing but I don't know) and Toni Sipriani or pronounced Kipriani? Thanks!

Salvatore would be pronounced "Salavatory"
Cipriani would be pronounced "Sipriani", never "Kipriani"

I know how to pronounce Italian, after all, my second cousin is Italian.

Salvatore = Sal va torr ey [sAlvAtO´rA]

sal (sal-ad)
va (vat)
torr (door)
ey (hey, way, may)

Cipriani = sip ree arr nee

Salvatorrr would be the way to pronounce it if it was a normal English word, but it's actually more like Salvatoré, with the é being an "ay" sound. However some people do pronounce the name the other way, for example fashion designer Salvatore Ferragamo is Sal-va-tor Ferr-A-ga-mo.

And not a single fuck was given that day.

Thanks for the help guys! I did watch the cutscenes but I think I heard it differently between Toni and Asuka.

EDIT: So wait is Salvatore with an ay sound or an eee sound? Gerard says it's ay but Ryan says it eee.
