Vice City Stories Trademarks Filed
According to many sources on the interweb, Take Two has filed three trademarks for the much-speculated sequel for Liberty City Stories, Rockstar's first journey into portable criminality.

The three trademarks registered are for "computer game programs", "clothing" (our guess is Vice City Stories-themed t-shirts and the like, such as the San Andreas bandanas), and "entertainment in the production of motion pictures". The last trademark led many to believe that Vice City Stories was actually a movie based on the Grand Theft Auto franchise, yet the last trademark mentions a global network, which is likely the reason why it was filed.

It seems as though the rumors concerning a sequel to LCS named "Vice City Stories" are true! We'll keep you updated

Well, what do you think, good idea or bad idea...
I think it's a ok idea, I love vice city, but I really want a new city,.
But then again if they gave you a new city you'd want it bigger and to come out on PS3/PS2 to be better... so maybe Vice City Stories would be good just for PSP...?

I dont like PSP too much. The reason is that i don't have one. But I'd like VC very much. I like VC so much. Maybe as much as SA. I was a member of a clan who's server was closed yesterday (April 16th) and we had so much fun in VC. So if you play VC MTA then find a RPG (Role playing game) server for yourself and so many new & good friends and great time & fun is guaranteed. VC had a great environment to do anything and I'd defenetly like VC stories. But on PC. I cant wait until they put GTALCS to PC. But I'm afraid they wont... =(

I love Vice City too and I also want a new city but like you said it would be too small and all that stuff. But I think Vice City is a great idea, plus it could be set like 10 years later or something like that so a couple of things would change. Rockstar could really put some neat changes in there and even though I do not own a PSP, (I am hoping for both LCS and the new PSP game will come to X Box as well as PS2) I am very excited about this new game and how it will turn out. I think Vice City would be great! :bleh:

Vice City with all the features available in San Andreas would be awesome. I'm talking about stuff like more planes, more bikes, cars, swimming etc. Also the timeline thing was good. They could make it like Ken Rosenberg went back to VC after running from Leone. Anyways, I would totally love to have VC on the PSP(Thats because I own one [V 1.50]) :w00t:

Do you think PSP would be able to handle the San Andreas map?

make it like Ken Rosenberg went back to VC after running from Leone.

Nah, make it he runs to England, with Kent Paul thus setting the scene for the UK based PS3 game (as it should be) :clapping:

I think it will be cool, although the ammount of things you could do on GTA VC on the PS2 would have to be alot better because i'd get bored...
Swimming and stuff like that would be really cool!

Hi all, I'm new here. I have been reading the topics on this site and this site ROCKS!!! Now onto the subject, Vice City stories, I think that it'll be one hell of a game, but probably the same vice city as the PS2 version (I mean all the landmarks and stuff). Is Tommy Vercetti gonna be back or will the Proganotist going to be Lance Vance or even Ken Rosenberg? Welll, we'll just have to buckle up and find out! I wonder if the next PSP title will be called San Andreas stories, this time with CJ's Brother and mother alive before they died. If it does come out on the PSP then I'm gonna love every bit of it like on the PS2 and every single same cheat, the Hydra, Jetpack, No cops THE LOT!!!

Not possible. No way in hell would that fit on a single UMD.

I GUESS I'm happy with VCS, but I really would prefer a new city.

There is no "freedom of speech" in forums, yes you can say what you want but in the end what the mods say gos. This is not a democracy.

I agree with Spaz, there's no way you can expect all of VC's or SA's features in VCS. It'll probably be a little less featuristic than it's predecessors for the bigger systems. I'm looking forward to it all the same!

There would probably be costumes to unlock again, just like Liberty City Stories. It wasn't very good though, was it?

there should be more missions that require you to wear costumes ( a la JD's missions ), but using the more weird and wonderful among them -COUGH cox mascot suit COUGH- my fave costume, love it with a passion!
