Righty Posted August 8, 2005 Share Posted August 8, 2005 Earlier today, I downloaded a plugin for MSN Messenger called MSN Plus. After installing it, I didn't pay any attention to the desktop, but when I went to open Firefox ... I saw that all too familliar sight. I had a spyware attack ... on my computer. First time ever for this computer and my first spyware attack in over a year and a half. I ran 4 spyware checks and got everything off but this guy kept talking and there was no program open. I had to uninstall the msn plus to get rid of all of the crap. Don't get this free plugin. I will also be sending them an email too. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

YoungFools Posted August 8, 2005 Share Posted August 8, 2005 I have MSN Plus, and when you install it, you need to make sure that you dont install the program that comes with it. there is a box you have to un-tick during the installation.
