Live celebration At Budokan '78

Recommended Posts

Cheap Trick had a stroke of major luck for a USA band, playing two shows at Japan's Budokan proved a live record that ranks up there with UFO's Strangers in the Night, Kiss' Alive, and Frampton's Comes Alive.

Recently relived the glory with a set replicating the historic album and broadcast on AXS.TV

I got to see it, but a major let down was missing iconic drummer, Bun E. Carlos. Too me, something is seriously missing without him, but glad to see them still out there, still playing to crowds. A Midwest treasure, like REO Speedwagon!

Not a fan of Top Gun soundtrack (Danger Zone is certainly an exception however), but Cheap Trick have done more then one movie song over their storied career. I just wonder what all is behind this split from the band, as they were one band who were pretty much staying original members through out their long career, which is certainly rare these days!
