Custom Game Save Causes Crashes

Hello,

I patched by Steam version with this method. Then, I attempted to load up a game with this save game. Now, I had an original save to load up which worked fine. However, trying out this save causes the game to crash.

I have tried using the patch for 1.0 and 1.1 to no avail for either. Is there something I am doing wrong?

A Steam installation of GTA will only play savegames from another Steam installation. I don't think downgrading to v1.0 would change that.

You need to look round the web for a Steam savegame for GTA SA.

Grand Theft Wiki Manager

And not a single fuck was given that day.
