Is your keyboard sticking?

P.S., I'm not sure if you meet the minimum requirements or not since you're running a laptop, and the game really was made for desktops only. You really can't run GTA IV on a laptop unless it cost like $2k or more.

Or maybe the keyboard is glitchy.

P.S. My Laptop costed $4,404 and telling everybody this is absolutely essential.

Man i had this problem too! It has nothing to do with your computer, which seems verry good to me.. It's because of some system thing running called "Windows Event Log". To fix this problem to this:

1. Click on your start button and search for "msconfig"

2. Open it up, and click on the tab "Services"

3. Search for "Windows Event Log"

4. Found it? Uncheck the box infront of the name, and click apply.

5. Reboot your computer

6. Happy gaming without lag while pressing buttons!
