Downloaded save games wont work Rate Topic: -----

I downloaded a save game and every time I load it it just starts a new game from the beginning. Help? Ta

You may have version 2 of SA, use this if you have v2(you can check if you have v2 at the main menu when you start the game in the bottom right corner, if the corner is blank, you have v1, if it's not, you don't have v1.

When you downgrade/not, use this savegame, always worked for me.

OK I downgraded it, but upon realising that when I modded it it broke I just reinstalled it as V2. But I didnt remember to back up my save beforehand so the downgrader made it a V1 save so it wont work anymore, is there any way I can upgrade the save file back to V2?
