What we know so far

  • Who is the protagonist for this DLC?
This time the main protagonist is Luis Fernando Lopez.
  • When is the release date for Ballad of Gay Tony and where can we get it?
The game was released on October 29th 2009, you can either download it from the Xbox Live Marketplace for 1600 Microsoft Points or buy the disc Episodes From Liberty City which has both Lost and Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony.

In April, Both PS3 and PC users will be able to get there hands on Episodes From Liberty City.
  • Is it coming out for PC/PS3?
The game will be released for both PS3 and PC in April. You either can get the Downloaded version or pick up the disc Episodes From Liberty City
  • Can the game be played with out the Grand Theft Auto IV disc?
If you buy Episodes From Liberty City then you can play it with out the IV disc. If you download it from the marketplace then you'll need to have the IV disc.
  • How big is the file size be for Ballad of Gay Tony?
It will be a similar size to The Lost And Damned, which was 2 GB.
  • Does Ballad of Gay Tony require Lost and Damned in order to play?
You will not need the Lost and Damned in order to play Ballad of Gay Tony. It is great to have knowledge of Episode 1’s story to get the most out of the revelations in Episode 2 from what Rockstar Games have said.
  • If I buy Episodes From Liberty City, will I be able to play Niko's story?
I'm afraid not. In order to play Niko's story, you'll need the original release of Grand Theft Auto IV.

Other Information
  • The HUD was confirmed to be a Violet looking (pink/purple) setting.
  • Three nightclubs are accessible which are Bahama Mamas, Hercules and Maisonette 9.
  • The game has around 20 missions just like Lost and Damned.

  • If you're using the DLC version, Niko & Johnny's (If you played TLAD) parking spaces work.
  • Armando can sell you Johnny's grenade launcher.
  • Also if you missed the marker in Luis' apartment, he can change outfits. You still can't buy them or
change individual pieces but you have a few options this time.
  • If you start missions at Luis' mom's place you'll quickly open up the drug wars, they pay pretty good.

Ballad of Gay Tony will focus on high-end night life unlike with IV and Lost and Damned. You'll play as Luis Lopez, full-time assistant to Tony Prince (Gay Tony).
Players will struggle with the competing loyalties of family and friends, and with the uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price

In Grand Theft Auto IV, Luis appears three times though out the story. The first time being on the Mission "Three Leaf Clover", then "Museum Piece" and finally "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend".
Luis also appears in a couple of times in Lost and Damned. The first mission being "Diamonds in the Rough" the other being "Collector's Item".

More helpful info:

If you're using the DLC version, Niko & Johnny's (If you played TLAD) parking spaces work.

The homie w' the weapons truck can sell you Johnny's grenade launcher.

All your favorite weapon spawns from GTA4 are still there.

Also if you missed the marker in Luis' apartment, he can change outfits. You still can't buy them or
change individual pieces but you have a few options this time. You can also visit the internet cafes
& laundromats for some quick cash in the beginning of the game.

If you start missions at Luis' mom's place you'll quickly open up the drug wars, they pay pretty good.

If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it's meant to be.

If not, point & laugh when it flies into a woodchipper.

I updated the topic a little. I put in the other info you posted and added the rewards for doing Drug Wars.

Next thing I'm going to finish is the targets you need to get for 100% in each mission. I just having a little trouble with the tables and color tags and etc... seem to break after using them to much in one post...

As far as I know, the IRL names for some of the weapons are the following:

.44 - Automag
Advanced MG - M249
Explosive Shotgun - AA-12
Assault SMG: FN P90

If anyone can tell us about the others, let me know.

I found a way how to get rich in TBoGT on the first day I bought the CD. Here is what you do:

- Complete the mission "Mama's Boy"
- Go to LC Cage fight on your map.
- Go down stars and bet all of your money on the person you think will win.
- If the person you betted on wins you will get DOUBLE on what you betted on. Keep doing this and you will be a millionare in less than a half hour.

Oh and you must also put the game on Auto Save Off for obvious reasons. I have about 1,000,000 from cage fights.

If your good at fighting, that's a good idea to make some cash at the start.
One more thing, if your doing a cage match and your low on Health, Spectate the next round to gain full health again. When you compete again, you'll start where you left off.
