Awww, isn't that cute.

See the real deal here, mid 11's @ 110 MPH (note B&W pic circa 1965, drive wheel left pavement) -

There was also a '69 Charger modified for the TV show "Dukes of Hazard" that ran the entire 1/4 mile w/ the nose in
the air.

Built by these guys (sorry, couldn't find pics).

If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it's meant to be.

If not, point & laugh when it flies into a woodchipper.

Nice, especially since Honda S2000's (or any other Hondas, for that matter) aren't noted for superior low-end torque.

They enjoy being revved around 9000 RPM or so...

That's the just AP1, which ran from 2000 and a couple of years later til '03 or '04 (not positive which) but the torque is on up the line. My Accord redline is set at 6K right now, the torque really comes on about 4K RPMs, and no it's not VTAKKKK :P

I think it's just awesome seeing a car that was never meant for that -- doing it, haha.

Are you speaking slow in driving or slow in the head? They are nice cars, so you aren't stupid for owning one. And our friend drives one and it definitely isn't slow...

There is no "freedom of speech" in forums, yes you can say what you want but in the end what the mods say gos. This is not a democracy.

Those just always seemed like they were suppose to go fast, to me.

But why must little kids get their panties in a wad because a car that is suppose to be efficient and nice to drive doesn't go super fast? There's more to cars than speed, child. Maybe when your balls drop, you get your license, and have to pay your own gas, you'll understand why someone would want to drive a car like an Accord.

Thank you spaz. Honda Accord aren't made for speed. We get it. What are you going to say next? "Ferraris are fast!"?

I must point out how you were the first one to say it. I only defended the Accord as a nice car.
