We're being sponsored by a server host that I can't reveal until the deal goes "official" I should say, but that doesn't really matter, what matters is that we have 2 64 players right now, one of which we're going to let you guys play in for now. Let me explain.
We are using a generic Freeroam script, a custom freeroam script is going to be made for our server (very very custom with a lot of features), but things take time, but it's going to be sooner then expected. We're going to be hiring scripters if everything goes as planned.
Okay, so server rules...
ANYTHING GOES! Use a minigun, but if someone is just stunting do not shoot him. If you do, we'll either kick you or put you on our shit list etc, you get the idea. Accidents do happen sometimes, and this is a warzone, so don't flip out if you accidentally someone with an RPG. Heat seeking ones are synced, as well as heat syncing rockets on the Hydra... so yeah, please don't abuse them, if you wanna fuck around with them and shit that's completely fine with us as long as the person you're trying to hit is cool with trying to avoid them. Get me?
This is just to keep people happy until we release our own version.
Alright, so next I'll explain what you need to do to get the most of all of this so far.
First, you're going to need to go into the server. In the chat box (hit t) type /register YOURFORUMUSERNAMEHERE APASSWORDHERE. After that, do /login YOURFORUMUSERNAMEHERE YOURPASSWORDHERE.
Once you're logged in a bank account is automatically created for you. There's ATM's spread out but the blips aren't streaming yet, so you need to be near one for it to appear on the map, but once your near it once it will be there the whole time until you disconnect. It just needs to load.
Resources loaded:
bank - Go to the building where Big Smoke's last mission went down.
modshop - Go through the alleyway next to CJ's mom's house and Sweet's house, not the one near Ryder's. The even more ghetto alleyway.
bombshop - Go to the parking lot where the mission Caesar Vialpando went down, you'll see 8-Balls bomb shop across the street, go in to buy yourself a bomb.
headshot - Shoot someone in the head, they'll die.
That's all the significant ones I can think of.
Now, to bring up your awesome clientside box that controls what you do, press F1. If you fuck with gravity and speed that's fine, won't affect us it will just look lulzy, you might crash your game. You'll definitely need to reconnect. Keep that in mind. Oh yeah we're giving everyone unlimited money right now, everything is going to be reset once the official script is done. Just type /setcash AMOUNTOFMONEYHERE.
Also, throughout the day admins may turn freeroam into race mode, back to freeroam, possible capture the flag, teamwars etc. This is just to keep everyone (including staff) satisfied until everything is all done.
Let me get this clear: IF YOU ARE CAUGHT CHEATING YOU WILL BE PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM BOTH SERVERS. THERE IS NO REASON TO CHEAT, YOU HAVE ACCESS TO ANY WEAPON AND VEHICLE. IF YOU ABUSE YOU WILL BE KICKED AND POSSIBLE BANNED. IF YOU ARE BEING ABUSED REPORT IT TO AN ADMIN IMMEDIATLY VIA PM, IN GAME, OR IM. IF SOMEONE HITS YOU ONCE OR TWICE AND YOU ASK THEM TO STOP AND THEY DON'T, THIS IS ABUSE. TELL US!

Oh yeah also, I would just like to clear up an issue. Spaz and I are dons of gangs and we understand if you think we're abusing LCF or any other gang somehow by being staff, but seriously that would be no fun and I think you guys know Gerard well enough for him to not let that happen. Thomas is part of my gang and was a tester and was notified about the server sponsorship yesterday because he needed to connect, he had no idea this was going to happen so hopefully this is a pleasant surprise.
