And another question..What will be the challenge or problem every time we rob? We can't just walk in, steal money and walk out finished..


I'm thinking maybe some gang owns the territory and needs to defend it. You guys aren't going to have all of Wuzi's men :P. Either that or we'll just put bots randomly shooting towards your direction etc.

Hmm, what about some NPCs? Can't they be put in the game? even though I've never seen that before.

Well, I guess it could be made like robbing a bank on SA:MP, You have to stay in a red marker for about 4 minutes, thats while cops are coming for you, and ther players are killing you. Then you have to get to a safe place, but I guess some decent scripting could make it awsome:
1 Gang Mamber steals a Van, parks outside bank, while 2 members steal bikes and cover the van.
However many players are left (or the choosen players if you have to many) are in the back of the van
The players in the van get into the bank, 1 goes to the marker where you rob the money. It takes 120 seconds to get the cash.
The remaining players in the bank cover the robber
When the robber stands in the marker, ALL PLAYERS, and Cops, are notified of the robbery, and may decide to stop the robbery (The players may decide, The cops have t go)
If you mannage to get the money, the players in the ban get back into the ack of the van, and the vans driver must get back to the gangs hideout, without the robber, or himself and the van being destroyed.
The playes on bikes must take out anyone trying destroy the van

That could be a basic outline of a robbery, however to make it harder you would only be able to do robberies at certain times, when the safe is open (Eg - 2: AM). Then players could add there own stratergies - Eg. Sharpshooters around the bank, Decoy Vans, ect...
Would proably easy to script to, as you dont have to make it like: You Must have Bikers or Other Drivers Gaurding you van - That would be the gangs choice.
But, we'll see if this acctully happens when it opens...

Well, on CnR (Sa-mp) it's basically the same thing, except it's independent. I think it takes about a minute or so to get the safe and then you have to go to a remote hideout either in the desert or Countryside.

What happens is, a small % of EVERYONE'S deposited money that went into the bank will be affected (stolen) and is rich players are on there's a greater change of scoring large - 6 digits +

To prevent this, people bought bank insurance, the name says it all. Everyday, a small % (1 or 2%) of your total amount of money in the bank will be taken from your account to pay the daily fee for protected money. So every time somebody robs your money, the bank pays back the money you lost straight to you, or to make it interesting, we could make it so you have to collect it from the bank before it is deleted.

I think each successful heist should probably be around 500k, just enough but not too much.

And expanding on Butter's last idea, if we could integrate NPC's to drive a armored car to the bank every night at X:XX and unload money, and that's when you'd start the robbery.

If it's 500k, it's going to be VERY hard.

And it will be deposited into your gang bank, and you are allowed to take out so much money every few days too, probably depending on your level.

I have however worked outt a flaw in the heist sytem though. What will be the policy on Hideouts?Will everyone know where other hideouts are, or will they all be secret that other gangs need to find? I was thinking because when the Van gets back to your hideout (providing its secret) people may follow the van to find the hideouts, and we might get a problem with Spawn Killers.

Agreed. As it's blatantly clear on the map where you are.

I was thinking that once the safe is in the van, only the van would disappear off the map? (If it's possible)

OR, we randomize the location of the safe house each time. Although since we're purchasing safe houses that would be quite annoying. As people eventually find out the locations.

Or maybe the location of the safehouse can be false for members of other gangs but the actual gang who owns the safehouse will get the exact location all the time.

Woah I just saw this, it will only be blatantly clear on the map where you are is if you see the person on the map or if the person is on your team. Your not going to be able to see everyone on the map that would be ridiculous.

Really? I've played on an MTA server and could see everyone, but I guess that's because it was no teams. I guess that figures out then, right?

No, I think MTA allows you to decide what blips can be on the map. i.e. members of the gang you're in, nobody else.

Well it's a resource called "radar" or "blips" or some shit. Servers can either have it turned on or off. We'll have it off or edited.

bots. You could probably lift it from the VC script & change it to suite SA, making it so only you have to survive. The
3 henchmen are expendable.

Why'd you skip out the "Shoot every motherfucker that's between us and the money" part?


Good question, but a tactic better suited for casinos.

Good,that tactic stuff would be good.Good thing im a planner in FFM.And why the hell we would need fire trucks?To spray water in the people?
