Does someone know how to put soundtracks in vice city?

like a scooter sound.

To put your own music on GTA Vice City, go to the Root Directory (Drive letter):\Program Files\ Rockstar Games \ GTA Vice City \ MP3.

In that folder, paste your .mp3 music. In game select the radio station called "User Tracks"

thats not what i mean,

i mean a real scooter engine sound from a fast scooter

Oh, you'll have to edit some audio files, which is extremely difficult. Neither I can do it, and I play GTA since 1999.

actually its not that hard, i learnt to do it from a mod here 2 or so years ago, its kinda like replacing a car but its only 1 file, you download a program from here, i'll find and link you to it in a sec.. then open the sfx file, find the sound effect you want to change then replace it with your new file. not too hard but i guess the hardest part is finding the sound you want to replace.. by memory it has a play option s oyou can listen to the sounds and that should really help, i'll edit my post with the tool or a mod containing the tool and yeah

Few mods i do know were created with sounds.Like some fighter plane mod and also some scooter which replaced Faggio.They are provided with the mod.

I did have a tool to edit audio files, but i am not sure.I will check my files and tell you.

Yeah here is the tool GTA Audio Editor.Dont remember the mod name.But it was suppose to replace the faggio scoter.

And yeah you will need IMG Tool to instal mods.

Which OS you are using?What error do you get?

And use IMG Tool to open gta3.img in the data folder of your GTA VC folder.And replace(Better Delete n Add) the respective .dff and .txd file(eg.for modding bike replace pcj600.dff and pcj600.txd with the one that came with the mod) with the one provided with the mod.Then Rebuild Archive and check out in-game.

i never worked with img tool i heard about it

i use to instal mods with mod installer
