Okay then. Nvm my post, sorry for the off topicness.

And I don't know what is the "today" stance of the church on the bubject but I know that before they didn't believe in Big Banf theories.

Alright, you obviously have no idea what you're talking about on this subject so just leave it at that.

It wouldnt have (couldnt have) that big an effect, when you think of the force and power that would be needed for a full scale re-creation. Besides, that would obviously kill us all.

Even though I am a Christian minority, protestant. I am really dependant of some sort of God creating the Universe. We don't know, we will never know if a God created us, our planet, our solar system and our universe. We do not have proof that a God did and nor do we have proof that it was created by a bunch of matter clumping together and steadily expanding.

We are talking about the Large Hadron Collider to be launched within the 24 hours not about how the universe was created. Maybe a topic should be made about it.

No... it can't. If God could do anything then why can't he create the big bang?

Because according to the Bible, he made the Earth...All magical like.

Really? Where?

'On the first day, God created the Heavens and the Earth, and saw that it was good'

etc, etc.

Right there?

I said it's there...

The bible doesn't say that god created the big bang, so therefor, it's just an idea, nothing more than that. No evidence AT ALL to even suggest it.

On the first day, God created the Heavens and the Earth -- alright, awesome!
and saw that it was good - He saw that it was good. Wow.

Where's the magic?

For f*ck sake get back on the fucking topic. We're not talking about creation of Earth or the Universe, we are talking about tomorrow.

... awesome? What does that have to do with the topic?

Anyway, we're arguing about this Christian shit in this topic and it's going off topic anyway, if you want make another topic or something. I'm guilty of it as well but yeah, going off topic.

Since when do you call creating 'Heavens and the Earth' not magic?

So the big bang theory is magic as well then? Is that not creating the earth?

I think it's better if you create a new topic. Some people won't listen.

Nope, the laws of physics, combustion, spacetime, creation of matter from other matter. Ok, some of the science we may not understand, but it makes more sense than just... it.... appearing at the whim of some 'being'.

Not really, it's caused by things that actually have explainations. God creating 'Heavens and the Earth' does not.

Of course if you don't believe in it it won't have any explanation... but if you do then there is. To be honest I don't even know if I believe, I just grew up being Catholic so I know some of this stuff.

I know that the orange moon can be explained scientificly, but I mentioned it because according to the Pagans, it symbolises the coming of Great Knowlage and discovery. I know your all gonna respond and say its complete cr*p. But I was just pointing it out. (Great Knowlage as in the experiment tommorow)

Don't believe.

If it were to happen tomorrow, it would be all over news, but to me, this is just some shit which makes people worry about it. They use maps or any images which can make everyone think this is happening.

It actually was all over the news this morning...

Lol, doesn't sound like much.

God is GOD, he can create ANYTHING he want's. If he couldn't do that, wouldn't he be useless?

The Big Bang had to be made somehow. It just doesn't magically appear.
