Hey guys,

I've seen a lot of people around the forums base stuff off of their social lives, making fun of people for it as well. "omg y dont u go out n get a gurl or ur so gay", shit like that pisses me off.

Let me get something straight here, I don't have a personal life really and it isn't my fault (I don't think at least), I have severe social anxiety because of traumatic experiences when I was a kid. They're not as bad as you think but let's just say I've met some assholes in my life.

Now, I'm just wondering, who here has a good social life? And who here bases this forum off of a social life, e.g. making fun of peoples social lives.

I like to consider my social life very good. I've got a girlfriend, great mates, we go out, have a great time. However, i know some people who's social lives aren't as.... 'prolific' as mine, for whatever reason. I find no reason to consider these people 'worse - off' or 'socially inept', that's just plain not nice. I accept it if someone is perfectly happy to spend their time alone indoors, which is what i want sometimes too. It's perfectly normal for people (teenagers especially) to have problems connecting with people, making friends and so on, it's part of life.

My best friend (only current friend ) told me I was a happy person about a year ago until I figured out what I was missing. Great.

Heh, loads of people here don't have good social lives, and I guess I'm one of them - any GTA webmasters that are great socialisers?

Never really go out much and have a small group of friends back home and a small group at uni, never been popular or anything, and I'm not sporty so didn't make friends through clubs and after school stuff etc. So yeah. Pretty boring life at the moment, but hey, GTAIV keeps me occupied a lot of the time!

Meh, my social life is kinda in shambles. I had a girlfriend, from before I joined the forums, but then I found that she was two-timing me with some other guy. So, I did what anyone else would do in my situation, I broke his jaw (after school). She dumped me, blah blah, we both moved on, blah blah blah. My friends are awesome, I've known them since year 4, we have our fights, we end up beating each other up, after all that we say sorry. I trust them to back me up in any situation. I don't really want to get into the dating scene again, at least until I'm a bit older.

i do have few friends who backstabbed me years ago, and i know they are still backstabbing me
thank God 2 of them are left to support me in bad times

at school, i'm not a popular person and i'm rather obscure, i'm thinking sometimes that i don't exist in this world
girls in my class hated me because i speak very bluntly against them
i also doubt that someone likes me...

i think one of the causes is that i'm not raised to be a friendly person, i'm always confined inside the house but my parents always let me to get out without being worried about me safety... i'm just a totally dumb ass

I had many friends back in the old days. Once we moved onto High School they all stabbed be in the back very deep. Now all I'm left with are a few friends of the same race as me who I can seriously doubt as a friend at times. Does anyone know what that leaves me with?

Australia is a Westernised country. That equals to a lot of racial discrimination. I had to survive 7 years of stupid primary school being teased because I was the only Asian in the school. *sigh*

Do I have a good social life? - It's in the middle to be honest.

I do spend a bit of time with my friends, but I got exams and all of that coming up meaning I can't spend time or chill out with my friends because of that. I do tend to be active on TGTAP, but that's usually cause I've done all my work and/or that my friends aren't really there.

So it's balanced for me, but it gets a little rigid from times.

Right now my social life ain't too great (same reasons as TMs really, exams and stuff coming up for me). I do though at least go our socialising once a week, and plus when I'm not busy I play football virtually every weekend and sometimes weekends. I would say my social life is good.

@ People Who think they have no social Life

I dont know how to put this but I did question someone on these forums (can't remember who) because they said they ddin't have a social life and I didn't really understand why. I think you should sort of go out with your friends, if you dont have any you have to make some. I reckon if you are a loner its because you choose to be that way, I know how people feel though who have communication problems etc. Someone in my area had that so we always had to phone him to play footie not the other way round.
