I have a question. I know Grand Theft Auto 1 for PC can be downloaded for free and it works. I also know that it had an expansion pack called "GTA London 1969" which is not downloadable for free.For that expansion to work, you'll need GTA1. And for its own free downloable expansion "GTA London 1961" to work, you'll need both "GTA London 1969" & "GTA1"

Can GTA London 1969 work with the free download GTA1? Thanks in advance.

No, that's 1961 to download.

London 1969 (the retail expansion pack) is the only classic to now be available to download. What OP is saying is this:

GTA1 (downloaded, NOT bought)
-> GTALondon1969 (bought)
-> -> GTALondon1961 (downloaded, obviously)

The answer is yes it should work. And then on top of that you can add 1961 (the free download).

Yes that is the link to 1961, but it needs 1969 to play.

1969 could probably be best found on ebay nowadays.

Oh yeah. Heh, never realised it was so unpopular in the states. You can ALWAYS find a copy in the UK. In fact assuming you'll pay by PayPal, just buy one off ebay.co.uk and it'll just cost a little bit more for shipping.

Still kinda big, not sure if it's inside regulations, if the size is 500x200 or below, you're good. I can't really tell by eye. You might want to check it.

Are there any used games stores in your area? They may have it there. Mine dosent have it though. But check there.

gta london will work except for the driveby cheat , it will cause a prompt saying that the next episode needs to be installed, anyone know how to fix that?

I wish GTA London 1969 was available free... I don't get why not really since GTA 2 is. I had it on PS1 and it was really fun. I just wanted the abillity to make missions for it
