Problems with " Extortion"

Been thru all 15/15 missions of Extortion, but after the 15th it says I am upgraded in rank....and then gives me another shop to go to protect/ take over. If I go to any of my save locations I cannot get in to save. It's like the game has started a loop. HELP!!!!

You can do more Extortion/Protection Racket missions after you finish the 15th. Did you quit the mission before trying to save?

No, every time I tried getting into a save location it would not let me in, just kept giving me more shops to protect/ take-over. Probably did another 10 shops after it said I was upgraded.

I think he meant did you actually "quit" the mission after you got 15 of them done. I'm not sure how this game works, but you should be able to end after you finish the 15th and you'll have got it.

You can only save the game once you have ended the mission plus after you have done 15/15 you can still do more more missions but it doesnt upgrade anymore.

Yeah, that's what I meant.

You are supposed to exit the mission by pressing Up twice and then the save icons will show up. You can't save during a mission, you know.

Ok that sounds like I'm a complete cluster now! I'm playing on PS2, and have never seen the "press up twice", I'd better go check it out. Thanks for all the help guys!

It's been a couple months since I played, but on PS2, I think the same button that starts/stops ambulance/police/etc should

end your empire missions.

Thanks to you all, thats the solution. I hadn't realised I could exit the mission without having to start from the beginning again DUH !!!You've all been a great help, hope to repay the favor sometime.
