And considering San Andreas' girlfriend feature was a dud I thought that they wouldn't put it in again. So what are your guys' opinions on how the girlfriend thing will happen. I personally hope we can use our cellphone's more to call them up if you want a date instead of wait til' 20:00 like in San Andreas. And have more options on what you an do on your dates. Like for instance go to the carnival(I think I saw a rollercoaster in one of the screenshots. Not totally sure though.). So basically I just wanted your thoughts on girlfriends in GTAIV, and if you guys think it'll be good this time or not. What would be nice, is that they were just like something apart, that you dont HAVE to date them all, and get 100% to complete the game, beside that, i didnt think it was so bad. Umm, I'm pretty sure you didn't have to get 100% with all of them to complete the game 100. In the SA Checklist that Chris compiled for us in the section about things NOT needed for 100% were: Unique Stunt Jumps Lowrider Challenge Couriers Mini Games Triathlon Races Gang Territories Girlfriends 2-Player Missions Burglar Missions So unless Chris was wrong () I don't think we needed them to get 100% in SA. so they already confirmed girlfriends?damn, i missed so much i don't think girlfriends is a bad idea, but they have to REALLYY improve this feature oh, btw, i'm back! on TGTAP! Yeah when first I heard about it I thought it was an interesting feature but when I played it I absolutely hated it. I still don't really want them to come back, but if they do really improve it I might just might like it. I hope the new girlfriends will have similar but better features this time so they can actually be useful. BTW no problem for the correction of "theory". Lol. Posted May 28, 2007 Share Posted May 28, 2007 The problem with girlfriends counting toward 100% is that in a real life way, there's a chance that girlfriends will break up with you and once that's done, there's no going back, and in GTA, there's a chance you can kill them and that'll also kill your chances of getting 100%, which is why they weren't required for 100% in San Andreas. But I got to 100% with all of them, I wanted the outfits and cool features they gave us. Ooh! Two features I think that must return are the ones where you keep your weapons if you die or get busted because I found that very useful.
