I've just bought SA (so I'm unlucky enough to own the second edition). Now, from what I've read I'm under the impression that it includes the 1.01 patch?
Utter bollocks. That "thunderstorm bug" is still there. Whenever I get into stormy weather and a thunderclap sounds, all other sounds (except ambient noises) are cut out until it's over. A similar thing would happen when I fire a gun, but I fixed that by putting hardware sound accel. all the way up.
Anyone else noticed this?
