Just Misunderstood........

i had that problem before, i re-installed gtasa and it was fine, also sometimes if you right click gta3.img and go to properties and the read only box is ticked that can give you some stick too, so untick it. also i had a problem with img tool 2.0, sometimes when rebilding archive it crashes and corrupts my gta3.img file, once that happens it re-installation time, its better and safer to instead back up the file ur replacing (eg elegy.dff & elegy.txd) delete them then rename your files to elegy.dff & elegy.txd then click commands->add and add them but dont rebuild archive you dont need to, credits to WRX"the boss"22B for his help on that one. sorry for the essay lol hope it helps

just a quick question, im replacing all the police and military vehicles in san andreas, can anyone tell me the .dff and .txd names of the files? i need the cop cars (LSPD, LVPD, SFPD) the police bike, cop ranger & FBI rancher. it'd be a massive help if someone could tell me as im bored of the crappy police so im puttin in some more aggresive ones in bigger and faster cars for a challenge

hi guys just wondering if i change car names using gxt editor (eg admiral to audi rs4) does it change the name of the admiral all through the game? eg names of cars on the export list? if not how do i change it? cus its difficult to find a car for export when all the names are changed! lol also i cant find the greenwood in the gxt editor, any ideas what it could be? thanx

hey, u know where i can get any good models of nascars? preferably ones that are damagable cus theryre replacing the bloodring banger etc, also i noticed in earlier posts sum1 was lookin for madmax/road warrior cars? check gtainside, they got a nice quality '73 ford falcon hardtop 'last of the v8 interceptors' with gas tanks and everythin, hope it helps!

hi just a quick question, my img tools all messed up, it was fine but now when i use it, i replace cars (making sure .dff and .txd names are the same) it does that fine, but when i try to rebuild archive it does approx 10-20% the says I/O error 23, its not the mod thats corrupt cus it does it with any mod i try, also ive checked gta3.img properties and its not set to read only, if i set it to read only img tool wont even open it. any ideas guys? much appreciated, thanks!
