What are we talking about here? I don't see the connection between the

forum and this Worm guy.

Precision (Edit, how can I get my signature smaller? I really would like to

give you the joy of a wonderfull invention called the Precision Bass but

I don't want it this big, and I think I'm not the only one)

that sucks.. a lot, 'tinternet would be so great without hackers, viruses, etc..

And chain e-mails! Heak, I get fifty of them a day, I just cut and paste a paragraph about how sad they are and send them back to who started the e-mail... several times.

Why do hackers do it? I just dont understand. Do they realise what they've done? Do they really think it's funny, destroying months worth of hard work and money? The government need to spend less money on shite like Pop Idol and more on catching and punishing hackers.

Lol, I'll admit I don't know much about the government but I heavily doubt that the government pays for Pop Idol. As for chain mails, I don't actually get many of them but they really piss me off. They say things like send this to 15 people within 15 minutes or you'll have a curse on your love life for the rest of your life. I get loads of emails trying to sell me viagra and penis enlargers though(like I need them  )

Pop Idol is broadcast on the BBC. The BBC has no adverts (apart from its own adverts, which defies the point really), and so needs funding. Where does it get it's funding from? The government. Where does the government get that money from? Taxes. Well, actually, TV licenses, but that' just TV-tax under a different name.

At least, that's what I think.

Yeah I'd like to see that but I doubt that the ISP's will start cancelling accounts because of hacking small forums. I imagine they don't give a damn what the user does as long as they pay the costs to use the internet. Saying that though, i've recieved 3 warnings from AOL

So you like to hack?

Major hacking, like the people who stole Half Life 2's source code, is frankly unnacceptable. It just pisses me off so much... the thing is, the law always takes a while to catch up with new 'law-breaking' technology. And hacking is relatively new, and the government hasnt really woken up to how serious the problem is yet.
