HOW DO I MODD MY GAME

What kind of mods do you want to install?

Start here, it's for SA but applies to any game you want to mod -

http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=22268

Also read through chris82's "how to install cars" topic at the top of the GTA3 modding page. Also read through the

pinned topics (top of page) in GTAVC & GTASA modding forums, again a lot of the basics apply (especially VC).

Good luck.

Map parts are mainly DATA mods, placing things like buildings & trees already in the game. Some add models like

the Statue of Liberty or new buildings, you install those like you do a car but there's no DATA entries to edit. Save

copies of the original files but there's not much to go wrong in map mods. They're a good place to learn your way

around modding.

Good luck.
