Frozen Liberty City
VC-PC
Created By:TheDude5000 11/20/07 5:57:02 AM

This mod shows the effects of an heavy blizzard in Liberty City. Virtually everything from tire treads, to frozen
parks and ponds to snowy tree tips and snowy mountain areas are to be found here. Full LOD conversions as well, so
no annoying grass patches in the distance. Snow will now fall realistically and it just looks amazing. This mod is more
of a realistic idea than Frozen Bone County. I just really wanted to bring that Winter time, snowy atmosphere to LC,
like I had seen in all those movies and shows, and of course the game True Crime: New York City which is not too bad.

Installation-

You're gonna need IMG Tool, you can snatch that at http://www.gtagaming.com/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=62
Make sure gta3.img in the models folder is not a read-only file. This is quite easy to install, it's just a long
process.

.::GTA: LC::.
If you don't already have any version of GTA LC installed into your Vice City, here is a download link:
http://files.filefront.com/gta+lc+installerrar/;9155978;/fileinfo.html

Run the installer. Then, if the GTA LC launcher doesn't work when you try to run the game, simply run your Vice City
.exe instead. If you want to use the mod with a later version, it should be compatible with all versions. There will
not be any support for GTA 3 because the textures are incompatible and would have to be downgraded just to work there.
Most of you should already have Vice City by now anyway. I mean what's it been? 4 years? Get Vice City if you don't
have it. Then get the LC mod.

.::SNOW::.
Extract the following files to your root VC directory:

vc_weather.asi
vc_weather.cfg
vcversion.dll
WeatherMod.cpp

Go into your data folder and replace timecyc.dat with the one in the archive.

Using IMG Tool, open the file called gta3.img inside your models folder. Replace the respective .txd and .col files
with the one in this archive. Then, rebuild the archive.

While still in the models folder, replace particle.txd with the one in the archive, then go into /generic. Replace
wheels.txd with the one in the archive. Voila, now your Liberty City will be snowified.

I take no responsibility for any of the contents of this modification. If you want to upload the mod, I'm fine with that as long
as I am credited. You may use my mod as part of another mod as long as you contact me and get my permission first.
Likewise, if you want to use the mod in any of your videos, just credit me and that'd be great. Just as long as you
don't pretend you made it, or else Joe Pesci and Steven Seagal will show up at your place with baseball bats.
