The GTA Place is owned and run by Chris Phillips, with a fantastic team of staff who help run the popular forums. The GTA Place was created back in November 2002, and since then has been growing every month. We've been providing the community with the latest news, screenshots, and information on all the GTA games made. The website as a whole now reaches roughly 250,000 unique visitors every month, and thanks to our massive downloads database and our forums, approximately 5,000,000 pages are loaded each month.

About Chris Phillips
I'm the founder of the website, I also designed and coded the custom system we run here.
I was born in Gloucestershire, England, and have lived there all my life. I enjoy playing all GTA games very much and I have been involved in the GTA community ever since GTA3 came out for the PS2 back in 2001, and finally created my own website in November 2002. I am also a web developer and run and help with other websites I own or am a part of.

What are all these other domains you own?
Originally when I started The GTA Place, I envisioned creating a network, with a separate domain and website for each game. Later I realised it was simply easier to keep everything housed under one domain, and everything memorable, we didn't want visitors to have to remember a different domain for whichever part of the website they were interested in visiting. Below lists the domains we own but never used, they simply redirect to their respective section.
